2/21/08 So i talked to a well known psychic yesterday who is always on the denver rock radio station and she said that we are having a GIRL!! YAY i'm so excited! I absolutely loooooove the name Olivia and at first Tom didn't like it at all, but he told me it really grew on him and he really liked it now, so i said he could pick the middle name! not sure if you have had it yet but the amnio was a breeze at 17 weeks. Not sure about your amnio being so far along. the needle didnt hurt at all.

I just had my amnio yesterday. It did not hurt as bad as the CVS test. It was uncomfortable when the Dr had to move the needle because the baby would move too close. Hang in there, not that bad. I would do it again if I had to.

Hey i read your post in the pregnancy forum. My husband is the exact same way. Before i got pregnant he used to say that he couldnt wait to see what i looked like pregnant because there is nothing more beautiful than a pregnant woman. I cant even remember the last time that i got a compliment from him now that i am pregnant and he is constantly talking down to me now. He is in the Marines and is based out of state so he only comes home on the weekends and for the past 2 weekends he hasnt even touched me which is really unusual for us. Hopefully things will get better for you. Congrats on your little one!

Hey there, thanks for your reply. I want to go natural, but I'm trying really hard to keep an open mind ... I keep being told not to be a hero, and frankly, it's not about being a hero, nothing egotistical at all in fact, I'm just terrified of the damn headache lol. I've never had a problem with anesthesia before so I don't think that's going to be a problem for me ... but that pain that you're talking about is kinda scaring me! Thanks again.

Thank you for the circumcision info. It was very helpful. It makes sense that they dont discuss it until after the birth, since some people dont know the sex of the baby until it is born. Did your insurance cover the procedure?
