i am pregnant with a little girl, ivey morgan o'neil. i am happily married to her daddy, donovan. we hold each other down =) i have a gorgeous daughter, isabelle, who is a big girl at 2 years old!!! she is my best friend, i dont know what i would do without her. she makes me who i am, and she is my life! the amount of love i have for her is exponential!! i also have a cute little step-son, jaden, who will turn 3 in april. he is the sweetest little boy in the world. i love my momma, my d, my whole family. i come from an amazing tight-knit family and i wouldnt have it any other way! my cousins, aunts, uncles are all wonderful and suppportive! my in-laws are also amazing people!! i'm very very lucky! i go to FCC, and soon will finally be able to transfer to Allegeny College of MD to get my degree in Dental Hygeine. i have an amazing support system! i will be 19 on january 25th =) i live in color! if you want to know anything else, just ask! click here to see all my pics in my webshots album!!!!!!!

23 WEEKS 4 DAYS- i had another doctors appointment yesterday, on the 7th. i have lost a total of 17 pounds this pregnancy, and within the past 4 weeks i have gained 0.2 lbs back, even though by this point i should have gained like 15 lbs. thats fine with me, because now i am the same weight that i was when i was pregnant with isabelle at this time!! the baby's heartrate was strong. my fundal height was measuring at 25 weeks instead of 23w3d. my next dr's appt is on feb. 4th (i will be about 28 weeks), and that day i will also have the glucose test to screen for gestational diabetes. after that, my ob appointments will be every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and then they will be every week! my next u/s is around 28 weeks too, and then i will have an u/s every 2 weeks after that until 32 weeks, then after 32 weeks i will have an u/s every week until i deliver!

22 WEEKS 6 DAYS- How far along are you:: i will be 23 weeks in less than 5 hours!
Cravings so far:: i was craving jalapenos and chipotle, but now canned pineapple, drinks with ice chips, ice, flavor-ice popsicles..
Things that make you sick:: icky stuff, too much colonge, stinky stuff, too much meat, eggs..
Boy or girl:: girl!

Advice for other pregnant women:: enjoy it!

His reaction:: amazed and proud
Greatest memory so far:: dancing for us in the first big sonogram when the doc said we were miscarriaging, and then ivey kicking daddy in the head!
Biggest fear:: premature labor or stillbirth, ick

22 WEEKS 1 DAY- about ivey.. well shes obviously getting bigger, i still havent gained any weight and i think i might have lost an additional pound or few. i hope not, im really hoping i gained a little because ive tried REALLY hard not to get sick and ive been trying to eat really good lately. everything aches and is so sore, a lot more so this pregnancy with ivey than it was with isabelle. my sinus infection is clearing up slowly, and i will finally be off antibiotics in a week or so. i keep on getting a lot of contractions, or braxton hicks, and a lot of pelvic pressure, which i didnt have with issy bizzy until i was like 32 weeks. i go into the ob in another 2 weeks or so, and i have another sonogram in about a week and a half. anyways im going to bed, were getting up early and going to bmore tomorrow to visit with the family, nigggggght!!!!!!

21 WEEKS 3 DAYS- hellllllllllo =) thought id post a quick blog. as of today we are 21 weeks and 3 days pregnant! ive been sick lately but still enjoying the pregnancy! i love my daughters and step son so much its unreal! i was watching isabelle sleep last night and she is so gorgeous, i just wanted to give her a million kisses. everytime i feel ivey move in my belly i think about how beautiful she will be and how much her daddy and i love each other. i was finishing up my baby regristry at walmart today and the paper said 'new baby regristry, donovan and ashleigh oneil', and i starting crying (good cry, lol)!! we had the kids this weekend and we finished decorating the house for christmas. we all hung the last of the ornaments on the tree and we finished up our last minute christmas crafts and gifts. tonight we didnt have the kids, so donovan took me out to chipotle! yumm! ive been craving it all week! after chipotle we drove downtown and parked and walked around to look at all the little stores and the lights. since im feeling a little better it was nice to get out and get fresh air =) we didnt really do very much but it was so much fun and we couldnt stop smiling and laughing the entire time. people kept asking us if it was our first date or if they noticed i was pregnant they'd ask if it were our first pregnancy. nope, were this happy married and with a jaden and an issy bizzy! eek im so happy for everyone! i was looking at megan and kalen's pictures today and i cant wait until kalen comes back from iraq and then they can get a place and have a baby!!! megan is going to be so beautiful and kalen will be so proud! theyre so in love already, ahh i just cant wait! we used to dream about being in love when we were little girls! haha its sounds so cheesy but i am allowed to be cheesy and emotial, im pregnant dammit!! ahhhhhh the only thing about tonight was that i keep getting emotional and im crying about everything, especially when im happy. everything was so beautiful tonight i kept crying and poor donovan had to keep wiping my face off and all. haha so now were home and d is sleeping (and snoring), and im so excited because tomorrow is christmas eve! we still have to go out and get 3 more christmas presents, wrap everything, and do laundry... but then off to the christmas party!! anyways, have a good night everyone ;)

20 WEEKS 4 DAYS- hi guys!!! another pregnancy update for ya =) i went to the doc on thursday and they gave me a new perscription for the sickness, but finally my sickness is getting a little better!!! thankfully i havent lost any more weight, but the baby is about a pound now and i am still the same weight i was 2 weeks ago, which is a total weight loss of 17 lbs. so anyways ive been craving some chipotle and jalapenos like nuts! every night when donovan comes home he makes a bubble bath (lights candles too!) for me so i can lay and relax and the water helps take the pressure off the pelvic area (preg/post moms, you know what im talking about!). im loving it, im finally starting to show, thankfully i still have a belly button so i can keep my belly ring in, the morning sickness is going away slowly, and this pregnancy, i can relax and we both know what to expect, we have time to read the baby books and really enjoy each other and the growing baby girl!! im going to run errands tomorow, so im going to finish up my baby shower registry at walmart. thankfully i have a lot of baby stuff, so theres only a couple new things that i really need (like a PINK stroller/car seat!!). i cant wait until christmas, the kids are going to love what santa got them, im sure. tomorrow we have isabelle and jaden so im going to sit them down and help them write christmas wish lists to mr. clause! if youve looked at the new pics, i made isabelle and jaden 'big sister' and 'big brother' shirts. sometime soon we're going to take them to their own toddler hospital tour, and they each get a stuffed animal and their picture taken. when the ivey comes, they get to hang their picture on the side of her bassinnett (sp?) thing at the hospital.. how cute!! anyways im going to go relax with the hubby (!!), since isabelle finally went to sleep at 9! (her bed time is 8, but shes got a bad cough!). goodnight everyone!

19 WEEKS 5 DAYS- Donovan and i went and got 20 week U/S today (click here to see all of the pics in my webshots album). My belly is definately getting bigger, but so far no weight gain at all. which i guess is good, because all the maternity pants are too big, even my pre pregnancy pants are too big. Ivey is almost a pound.. she's measuring a little big (20 weeks and 1-2 days, instead of 19 weeks 5 days)-- which is awesome!!! Getting the sonogram was awesome, everything is so perfect.. donovan and i were so proud of our little ivey! she was wiggling all over the sonogram and all our pictures are blurry because she wouldnt stop kicking. the poor U/S technician seemed a little annoyed, i feel bad because she sees a million expectant moms/ dads and theyre all like 'isnt our baby the cutest! look at that nose!'. fortunately for her, donovan and i didnt annoy her with those questions, because we all know ivey is gorgeous!! i'm joking, but not really!! anyways, we're going on the hosp tour tonight.. so im excited to go there!!! (then go home and relax!!!!)

18 WEEKS 4 DAYS- went to ob today =) my uterus measured at 19 weeks, i've still been losing weight instead of gaining it, the baby was moving all around when they used to doppler to listen to the heartbeat, and the heartbeat was strong!!! on another note, i started leaking colostrum.. yikes!!! heres a preggo survey:

16 WEEKS 5 DAYS- OKOK so as you all know donovan and i went in for the CVS a few weeks ago, and everything came back normal. baby tested negative for down syndrome-- oh yeah and by the way, ITS A GIRL!!! we will be naming her Ivey Morgan!! anyways, it's tuesday, and on thursday (thanksgiving) i will be 17 weeks pregnant, almost at the 5 month point (18 to 21 weeks!!). i have been feeling her move, but today was the first day i felt a real kick!!!!! so so so excited! anyways, happy thanksgiving everyone!

13 WEEKS- my 1st trimester screening results came back abnormal, which means the baby is at a higher risk for having down syndrome. i was advised to go have a procedure called chronic villus sampling to look at the baby's 46 chromosones and also to go for genetic counseling. cvs is very similar to an amniocintesis. i was nervous =/ to learn more about it, go here, CVS. after the cvs, i also had to go take a shot of rhogam because my blood is rh neg.

12 WEEKS- at 12 weeks, i was still getting VERY sick and losing weight. i couldnt hold anything but water down, and hardly even that. the meds the doctors gave me just made me dopey and sleepy, but i was still sick!

10 WEEKS- instead of going to the OB&GYN center, i made my first prenatal appointment with obstetrician Dr. Kim. i went into the office at 9am, but the receptionist said they had made a mistake and my appt. was actually not until 12. donovan and i waited until 12, and we were finally seen by the doctor at 1pm. he gave me a pap smear, but would not check for the heart beat. he said that when they checked my urine, my HCG levels were a lot lower than normal. he made me leave and go take a blood test to measure HCG levels. he said he didnt even know if i had a viable pregnancy, and he wasnt going to see me until the pregnancy was confirmed. he said i could possibly be having a miscarriage or tubal pregnancy, but he didnt know for sure. i started freaking out, i was sick, cramping, and upset. after leaving dr. kim's office, donovan decided to take me to the er. while we waited to be seen in the er, i was so upset, i thought i was losing my baby =( donovan kept putting his hand on my tummy but i told him not to, because i didnt know if our little baby was even alive in there. it hurt so bad! at the er they checked my urine and my blood. they also performed an u/s. right when the u/s started, donovan and i saw the little baby dancing on the screen! the doctor said everything was okay. my blood and urine hcg levels were completely normal. i was just experiencing severe morning sickness, or hyperemesis. when they measured the baby during the u/s, he/she was measuring at exactly 10 weeks, for a due date of May 1st. he advised me not to go back to dr. kim and just make an appt. at the OB&GYN center instead. a week or so later, i had my first appt. with the OB&GYN center with Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen was very nice! we heard the heartbeat and everything looked normal. he then had me go take the first trimester screening.

8 WEEKS 2 DAYS- september 14th-23rd was frederick fair week, and donovan and i went out to the fair a million times with the kids! i love fair food, but i was so sick i couldnt eat much at all. on the 22nd, danielle had jaden and mom watched isabelle. donovan and i got ready and went to the fair, for like a little little mini mini date! lol! we met shannon and griffin at the fair, and shannon commented on how good i looked and how it looked like i lost a good bit of weight! sooo i told her i was pregnant! her and griff were the first friends we told!! (as for family- even tho shan and griff are really family, we had already told donovan's mom we were expecting, and we told my mom the next day)

5 WEEKS- morning sickness started right away! haha, almost right after i saw the + on the pregnancy test. i was so sick i couldnt keep anything down, and my ob couldnt see me for another 2 weeks, so i went into the er. the er did an u/s and the baby was so little all they saw was a little sack. the doc estimated me to be about 5 weeks pregnant, which made the health dept's due date of april 17th about 2 weeks off. a couple weeks after this, i went into the OB&GYN center and Dr. Acarenza gave me another perscription for the sickness.

4 WEEKS 4 DAYS- went to the family dollar in thurmont to buy yet another pregnancy test. i felt SO 'pregnant' but the other tests kept coming back negative. when we got home, i figured id take the test first. donovan and isabelle were playing in the kids room. i went in the bathroom, shut the bathroom door, took the test............. but this test was different.......... IT WAS POSITIVE!!!!! i camly walked out of the bathroom, donovan asked me, 'negative or positive?' and i said 'negative' but went into the kitchen and couldnt help but start laughing. i ran back into the kids room and said 'ok i tried to wait to suprise you at dinner, but hey, WERE HAVING A BABY!'. a couple days later, i went to the health department and took another preg test, and POSITIVE again! they went by my estimated first day of LMP of july 12th and gave me a due date of april 17th.

3 WEEKS 6 DAYS- donovan and igot married (eloped) in winchester, va at around 5pm. we had isabelle with us, he was wearing a silver shirt/tie with black dress pants and i was wearing a black/pink strapless dress =) we were planning on getting married at the beach in september, but that day, one thing led to another and we decided to drive to VA! we made it to the court house 15 minutes before it closed! we then got married in an old lady's house a block away from the court house. i was holding isabelle in my arms as we exchanged vows. after the ceremony, changed back into our summer clothes. on our way home, we got lost and found ourselves is berryville, va. we pulled over to ask for directions and came across a little resturant. we ate there, and had the best dinner ever... famous hot wings!!!!!! for the next couple days, donovan kept saying 'youre my wife'. id be making dinner, turn around, and hed me smiling in the doorway just staring and then say 'YOURE MY WIFE!'
