I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

i started to get really cramped up around 3 weeks post and every time i had sever cramping i would bleed and it was only like a quater size drop of blood with gooey discharge i havent yet have my period and prob wont get one till i get cleaned out

yea, I was trying the same thing, the only thing is that when I'd pump, I would only get like an oz if lucky from both. So, I don't think that she's getting enough. : ( I wish that I could still breast feeding during the day, I love looking down at her, it just isn't the same with a bottle.

So far I have been evry good about hand washing and it doesn't look like his infection got to me (nurses said if I get yiest on breats I will know it quickly since it hurts...) I hve been using nipple shileds (sterilized every day) so maybe that will help.

Yesterday I stopped Nystatin and applied lots of A&D with zinc today his bottom looks somewheat better so i ahve my hopes set up that maybe nystating was too strong and maybe remainder is just diaper rush...

Its wednesday here and its 9.37am....We are 6hours ahead eastcoast US.

I am a little worried but I am also anxious to finally meet my son - I still cant believe that I'll see him so soon !

o thats sort of a relief! i had an IV in february for preterm contractions and they couldnt find my vein either so they stuck it in a weird vein in a weird spot that hurt me when i moved my arm. it sucked hardcore. im afraid it will be the same when i deliver which will suck ass :(

hehe yea that doesnt sound too bad, but im iffy on the epi. i didnt want pain relief, but im expecting to need it. what scares me of the epi is that im one who has to see the needle as it goes into me. if i cant see it i freak out and it hurts more. im like this with all shots and getting blood drawn. my mom says its weird, but i dunno its like that way i know WHEN i will feel the needle. so not being able to see my back kinda scares me. and cathiders (spelling?) ive never been in the hospital for anything so it just is overwhelming. all the needles and tubes. omg and IVs! gah! im more scared of that than pushing the baby out.

I have never heard of that thrush being contagious to the boobs - isnt it that 'white' stuff on the gums? I'll have to tell my friend that bc she is breastfeeding her son and he has it.

I still feel absolutely fine so I'm wondering if birth isn't faaaar, far away still :-)

Wow - congrats darling! I'm still here with no sign of anything - going to hospital on Monday for my first internal...I'll be 41+3 then so hopefully I'll be effaced/softened/blah blah...

Well mine was very nice - the nicest time ever I think...I just remember us being more in love than ever and we talked about it afterwards. The place..hmmm...I couldnt call him sofa or couch could I? (haha) Or London...lol

I know when my duedate is too - it it may 23rd. They moved me forward because the baby was big almost from the start. Scary thought...

I know my due date bc I know what date I got pregnant - my boyfriend lived in London and I in Copenhagen. I remember where and when :-) Funny thought I think...

I dont know if my body wants to cough up any kids but I know that my mum when 2 weeks past due date with my bigbrother and 20 days past with me :-/

Ahhh thank you so much. Maybe they'll do that if I go past my due date - other than that they dont do internal exams here unless something seems to be wrong.

Therefore it can get a bit frustrating that it feels like I'm the only person on this website that doesn't know if I'm effaced or dialated...I'm trying not to think about it :-) I wish I knew though!

well the tech told me that he was 95%sure it's a girl.
I could NOT belive it I swore up and down i was having a boy, after the sonogram I also felt like I had lost a Son. I couldn't see my self with a girl.. But I"m really Happy now!! and I just pray God for her health.

Thanks for sharing your experience, now I just hope it's a girl becaue I already went babys shopping.. :)
