8 weeks pregnant - week of June 25, 2007
Due date: February 2, 2008 (Aquarious)
I feel so blessed and sick at the same time. Its amazing! I have been Nauseaous since 6.5 weeks. Some days are better than others. Yes- vomiting! Does that mean its a girl?
Although its only been two months, it has been a roller coster ride of emotions. First spotting (scarey) and then seeing our little angel's heart beat on a sonogram (143 bpm and doing great!). Now, sick and tired, but all worth it. I am still fitting into my old clothes but someone did say that I was getting a pouch. I work full-time and I have to say...its hard. I never thought it would be this difficult. I am looking forward to the "burst of energy" in 4 weeks. After all we went through in the begining, I am just grateful to be here and to have this page.
12 weeks -week of July 23, 2007
Just got back from my ultra sound and everything looked great! Doctor said the baby looks wonderful! All the necessary parts where there and it actually looked like a baby with a big head. The baby kept falling a sleep, but when it was a wake...boy did it move!
I am so glad I am "out of the woods" and I am looking forward to enjoying this pregnancy. Even the morning sickness (although ever present) is starting to subside. I can't wait to start showing and I really can't wait to feel the baby!!! This is all so amazing!!!
16 weeks - week of August 20, 2007
I am feeling great! No more morning sickness and a lot more energy!!! I have gained 13 lbs so far and the doctor said I need to slow down (I must be packing on all the weight I missed while I was sick). I am still not showing and I haven't felt the baby kick yet...still excited for it! I go for my next ultra sound on September 7 where we can find out if it is a boy or a girl. I don't want to find out though - I want to be surprised. My husband, on the other hand, wants to know. We haven't decided yet. I'll keep you posted!!!
28 weeks - week of November 12, 2007
Still feeling great! Getting bigger and bigger with each passing week. My doctor is mad because I already gained 28lbs and that was her goal for me for the whole pregnancy. I think each doctor is different. My doc just likes me to feel bad about my weight gain every time I see her =). I am only allowed to gain 2 lbs in the next 3 weeks (so crazy). I am so hungry all the time.
My beautiful baby boy is growing 10 days bigger than my due date! Yes - we found out its a boy and I am so glad we did!!! I now can day dream about my little guy without getting myself confused on what its going to be.
I can't believe I am already 7 months pregnant! The time is going fast, however, I am getting really excited to just meet him. I love being pregnant though. Aside from insomnia I feel fantastic. I hope I don't get uncomfortable this trimester. I am trying to exercise at least 2-4 times a week.
Nothing more to report. Except I went for my Glucose test last week, and I haven't heard back so I am assuming no news is good news. I will keep you posted!!!
32 weeks - week of December 10, 2007
Great news! I do not have Gestational Diabetes. We had a little scare when my glucose screening came back abnormal, however, after the 3 hr tolerance test it was determined that I was fine. Thank goodness!
To celebrate we got our 3D/4D ultra sound pics. They came out pretty good. We still can't tell who baby Jonathan looks like...but he sure is cute!
This Saturday is my shower (its not a surprise). I am so excited! I can't wait to see all the wonderful ladies in my life! I bet they can't wait to see how big my belly has gotten (I swear it gets bigger each day) =).
I have already gained 34 lbs, but I am still comfortable. I am working full -time and exercising. My blood pressure is perfect so I am not worried.
