Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

How far along wehre you. I am being induced on Feb 12th and they did an ultra sound and jack is weighing in at 5 pound 1 ounce. How is he doing any problems with lungs at all and how big was his head, Jack is at 8 cm right Now( his head.)I went out and brought some premie clothes b/c my doc says that she does not this that he is goign to make it to 5.5 pounds. Did you have an ultra sound before and if you did what did they tell you he weighed. Thanks you so much for anwering my ? I am nervous that my little one is small but I guess that will be ok. Good luck and he is so cute

a year! holy cow! I could not imagine leaving my job for a year. And I thought three months would be nice- if I can swing the last four weeks with NO pay. ENJOY it!!

i dont listen to anyone mate - i tell ya when i was in my first 12 weeks the amount of people telling me about miscarrying - some people just aint happy in there own lifes im sure - anyway im 15 weeks tomo so going good heard babys heartbeat on monday thats always nice - 5 months ok not long - god your baby will be like a months ot two old by then. SCARY. what ya having is it a boy? what ya calling it?

ahh you poor thing, dont worry about it it seems the older generation hasn't moved on yet...you and your partner will know whats best for your baby, explain to her that you are open to advise but still you will use what helps you.i think she is out of order stressing you out in this stage of your pregnancy get your bf to have a word......im sure it will blow over soon.take care.xx

hi i read your post and all i can say is that if your mother in law can't respect what you want for your lil boy and his health then simple, the baby won't be staying at her house. I think it is rude for her to disregard your wishes and treat you like she is going to be the most important person in this childs life. I so wouldn't put up with it, my mother in law is bossy also but after 8 years (lol) i finally am sticking up for my beliefs and opinions when it omes to my kids and her 'suggestions'. Well good luck and if you need to put her in line just remember to try and be assertive, then hopefully no-one's feelings get hurt.

It is totally up to you and your bf how you raise your child. I just wouldn't let her look after my kid if she is going to smoke around him and as for the christening, her loss, it sounds like it will be a nicer occasion without her. Hope your bf is supporting you.

wot a b**ch! Forget her as long as you and your bf are happy then who cares - its none of her business how you both chose to raise ur baby! Dont get 2 stressed out, remember baby feels wot u feel - perhaps remind your bf mum that you dont need this stress! Hope all works out for you! x x x
