JONAH IS A MONTH OLD ALREADY AND AT 7LBS 7OZ BEEN HOME 2 WEEKS AND WE ARE JUST SMITTEN WITH THIS BLESSING FROM JESUS..I WANT MORE BABIES...LOL WE SHALL SEE, I PUT UP SOME NEW PICS OF LIL MAN CHECK EM OUT.....

jonah failed his car seat test his heart stopped it will be some time after all...uugghh i am so mad i want my baby home:(

YOUR PRAYERS HAVE GUIDED ME ALONG THIS JOURNEY ALL OF YOU HAVE A PLACE IN OUR HEARTS.....THE TUTTLE FAMILY

jonah is eating and might come home soon :) also notice no more feeding tube....ladies i might feel like a new mommy after all......

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Hey, fellow super mom! Well, Alexis was not in NICU, but we did have a time. She stopped breathing on us her first day, was on a heart monitor and had problems with that, an intern thought she had signs of Downs Syndrome (though other doctors say otherwise-we refused testing because we don't think she has it, but if she does we'll deal with it later on), she has a heart murmur, and she was slightly jaundice. She had to go through an EKG, x-rays, lots of blood tests, etc. It was horrible. I cried a lot the first few days because I felt so helpless. Thankfully she is doing well now. I am thrilled that you're home, too, with Jonah. It's something trying to sign homework papers, feed Lexi, and make sure all chores and activities are going on the way they're supposed to. How is it going with you?

I had my baby on Januaey 9th He was not due till Feb 11th. I too blamed myself for him being in the NICU. My preclamsia and BP had gotten so bad. I can only imagine how hard it must be with 5 other kiddos. Trust me he will be home soon. Keep your faith and pray. I will pray for you as well.

Derisa, I am so sorry you are feeling the way you do right now, but it is not your fault. These hours must seem like days right now, but soon they will pass, you will have your sweet baby with you, and these days will be a blur. He knows who his mommy is and no one can break that bond. My heart is with you both.

I wish we lived closer to each other so I could help you out somehow. I am so sorry that this is taking such a toll on you. Do the doctors have any idea when they think Jonah will be able to accomplish some of these things on his own? God gave us lots of babies for a reason, Derisa. Don't underestimate the strength you have inside of you. On the other hand, please take care of yourself.

My baby was also in the NICU. I had him at 35 weeks. All I can say is give him alot of love and bond with him. I practically lived at the NICU. The nurses would tell me to go home, but I would talk, sing, and tell him I loved him every chance I got. Don't loose faith and pray. I will keep you in my prayers.

Honey one day soon he is going to be your miracle baby....he just needs time, dont be so hard on yourself, he is fighting right now so he can come home to mommy daddy and siblings. Trust me he will be so much more comfy with you and the family than with the nurses.

Sweetie...just pray...you are him mom and you guys spent a lot of time together...he shared your breath your food and everything with you ...now he just needs you to stand by his side and weight for him to get healthy enough to come home....it will happen ....and he is sooo beautifull...Ill pray for you.

You really shouldn't be so hard on yourself. (which is easy for me to say because I'm not in your situtaion) but really your are his mommy and he needs you and I'm sure he would much rather have you there then any of those nurses. Good luck to you and your son!

Hey there. Just read your post...Don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes things happen that we really don't have mcuh control over. Just be thankful that your little one is alive and well and that modern day technology is there to assist him. I couldn't even imagine how I'd feel with him being there 24-7 and not with me. But it's the nurses job to take care of him so you just stick in there...he'll be all yours when he's 100%! Plus, any mom would be hard pressed to feel differently in such a situation, but he'll be alright and will get better so you can have him. Be strong...thank God that your little man is growing to be strong and learing to do the things he needs to. I thank God everytime I see a story like yours...cause in the midst of such termoil, He has provided a way for healing (physically and emotionally). I'm praying for you all...

I am glad things are going well - he's adorable. I can only imagine how stressful it is to go back and forth; so much responsibility! You look gorgeous in the picture above, by the way. Just wanted to comment on your beautiful family. Hope the baby gets well enough soon to go home. BTW I use to live in NPR actually went to Ridgewood and River Ridge.. small world. Now I live in the Middle East.
