This is Dominic.....my favorite little boy. He is getting really excited for a new baby brother or sister. That's all he ever talks about. He keeps us busy with sports and is a very active child. His birthday is Dec. 12th and the baby is Jan. 12th, well if it comes on the due date. He thinks that is so cool.

What was your first reaction: Panic but I was really happy

How did your parents react: mom was in shock at first but is happy about it
How far along are you: app. 13 weeks
What was your first symptom: well my period was late and I started feeling really sick and very tired so I took a test, guess what it said?!
What is your due date: jan 12th 2008
Do you know the sex of the baby: no
Have you picked out names: yes for a girl, Olivia Lynne or Kelsey Anne, boy-hmmm still don't know that one
How much weight have you gained: actaully lost 4 pounds but my belly is starting to show
Do you have stretch marks: yes from my boy-gotta love him
Have you felt the baby move: Not yet and can't wait
Have you heard the heartbeat: Yes and it was fast 167 at 12 weeks
7/30/07 16 weeks~ I went today for my 16 wks check up and to have a cervical ultrasound done. Everything came back fine and my cervix will be able to carry the baby to full term. Yeah. During my ultrasound the tech said she had an extra 15 minutes and asked if I wanted a regular ultrasound and to find out the sex. I was excited but nervous because he didn't come with me. I told him he didn't need to come because it was just a routine appointment. Come to find out we are having a little BOY. The tech did both a 2d and a 4d ultrasound so the pictures are really neat. I will get the real ultrasound at 24 weeks so the baby will be more developed and not a little skelton..... I'm still getting sick every day but when I look at the pictures I think he is so worth it.
10/19/07 We went for a 4d ultrasound and everything looks great. He is 2lbs 7 oz already and the tech lady said his hair is a 1/4 inch long already. He is still head down and has been since 21 weeks. She also confirmed my due date and it's the exact same day as originally told. I was hoping it would be earlier. During the ultrasound he liked to keep his hands over his face. I'm going to go this weekend and get him some mittens so he doesn't scratch it when he comes out. It was so amazing seeing the little guy and watching the movements on tv. I have my first baby shower next weekend so I'm getting excited for that.

Man that sucks!!! I am so sorry to hear that. Well at least it will be a planned birth. Do you know who is going to do your surgery yet? Just think by this time next week you will probably be holding you new little guy!!!

When I asked about inducement they told me they wont do it until 39 weeks. I wanted to get induced if I didnt deliver by the time my stepson went home and they said no even though I would have only been about 3 days shy of 39 weeks. I think they should do it if you are 37 weeks.

My little girl doesn't move as much either. I read it is becuase now they just have enough room to squirm around so if i get scared i put my hand on my belly and i can feel little tiny movements i couldn't feel..

I just told my boyfriend this morning that the pregnancy has come full circle! Certain smells are making me sick all over again as if I was back in the first trimester! Oh well.. Its over with soon.. Hope you feel better :)

Having the same symptoms as you except for the headaches. I get them but not a lot. I think our little ones are just taking a toll on our bodies. I would talk to your doc or midwife about the symptoms to make sure you are experiencing something out of the norm.

okay so this might sound a little crazy but are you sure the pain isn't gas? I was having a similar pain when I sat but not when I laid down but when I tried to get up I nearly died. My mom told me to kneal on the floor with my butt in the air and put my nose to the floor. Sure enough it was gas and it started to come out and I felt a lot better. I still get the pain though.

the pain you are having is probably just round ligament pain from your muscles stretching out. i had the same thing and freaked out and called my dr. and she just said to take some tylenol and relax. and as long as i'm laying down and not doing much then if feels better.
