Woo hoo I'm 7 weeks today! I was showing the hubby the pic's of the progress of the baby in this week and he couldn't believe that the baby actually looks like a baby this early. LOL I think once he seen the pic's, it sunk in a bit more. I think once he see's the u/s this Friday and he see's our little munchkin, it will be more of a reality to him.
I can't wait to find out what we're having. When I was a teen I always said that if I ever got pregnant, I wouldn't want to find out what it was until it was born. That changes when you actually get pregnant. It makes things easier. I don't want to have to by neutral things. If it's a girl then I want girl things. If it's a boy then I want boy things.
Anyways, thought I'd share my excitment with all of you ladies. Keep healthy and safe. =o)

So now that the pregnancy has sunk in a bit more, I'm actually a little scared. This will be my first child and I can't help but worry about the pregnancy and what to expect and the birth and if I'm gonna be a good mom. I guess every new mom-to-be goes through these same emotions. I've wanted to be a mommy for a long time and all in all I am VERY happy but I can't help but be a little scared. I don't do well with pain. LOL
I'm sure I'll get over my fears as soon as I hear the heartbeat, find out what it's going to be and then when I first see my little one in 7.5 months

So this is my first entry and I thought I would introduce myself. My name is Irene, I'm 27 years old and I live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. I am currently 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant. (I know, very technical lol)
I was pregnant in April and that resulted in a M/C. My hubby took it alot harder then I did as I knew the statistics and did alot of research. It just wasn't meant to be. Just over a month later, I became pregnant again and everything is going amazingly well. As of last week my levels were just over 4000. My doctor is very happy with the results. I go for my first U/S on July 17th and we are pretty excited.
I am due in March and am hoping for a boy but will be happy with whatever we have.
Anyways, that's it for now. Hoping to talk to other moms-to-be soon.
Take care
