Hello All! My name is DK and I am so excited that I found this site. I am 30 years old and this is my first pregnancy. My partner and I had been trying for about a year, then we decided to go see a fertility doctor. All was well with both of us.. except for the fact that I had uterine fibroids and a cyst on each ovary. The fert doctor thought that the fibroids might have been blocking me from getting pregnant. So though they weren't causing any excessive or painful menstrual problems; I bit the bullet, chased away my fears and had surgery to remove the cysts and fibroids. That was in July 2007... so less than a year later I got pregnant naturally!!! That made the pain from surgery and the weight gain, worth it!!

So now, we are waiting on our little princess to arrive. I am due on December 5th.. and I can hardly wait!! Everybody is waiting anxiously for our little one! But no one's as eager as her momma! I've prayed and cried for this child; I am so thankful that God deemed me worthy!
