Daisy- I have the same thing! Are you focusing on your diet? My problem is I was losing too much weight too fast and that was how my body was dealing with everything! Grab some pedialyte and hydrate...but more over, make sure you are eating enough! Hope you feel better!

Lol, I am an American living in the UK ! But I think your right, it is an American thing for the most part to want to have "˙our room" back and put baby away in the nursery. I think they think they will get more sleep, but then they have to get up and run to the nursery instead of just having baby right there, and safer because of it...

Those nipples they give you at the hospital are good... we cleaned some and sterilized them until my son got used to the Dr. Brown's nipples... we had more nipples than bottles (of the stuff the hospital gives you) so that worked out... good luck!

hi. I was induced on Thursday, the 29th! I started out at 2cm, and went to 10cm fairly quick as well. Labor was about 8 hours, very fast compared to my first pregnancy---18 hours! I had Pitocin as well, with an epi towards the end. It didn't work that well though, and my doc had it turned DOWN during the pushing phase! I was NOT HAPPY about that----as I practically turned into the EXORCIST at the end of pushing!!! lol. My baby boy weighed 7lbs 3oz. We are almost the same! COngrats to you.

good luck with the nipples!! actually, the avent nipples fit my the born free bottles i have and the born free nipples are too soft and are starting to collapse b/c i think she is sucking too hard and nothing is coming out. we are going to also get the avent nipples size 2 since they are harder, cheaper, and hopefully last longer!!

Thank you! Somehow it makes the pain easier to bear when you know other people who have gone through the same thing and got through it fine. I literally cried myself to sleep a few times last night, the pain was so bad. I'll have to look into that spray you were talking about, it sounds great. I just need to keep reminding myself that this pain won't last forever!

Thank you so much for the comment. Did you give birth ??

hi! i saw you comment in the breastmilk section, and just finished the process of drying up. it only took about a week or so, but was very painful at times. when they would start to hurt really bad i would just express a little bit of milk by massaging them. you're only supposed to do enough to relieve a bit of pressure though, if you do too much your body will just make more. and i've heard lots of great things about the cabbage leaves- luckily i didn't have to try them! good luck!

Congratulations on Baby Ben! Glad to hear your induction went well. I was very pleased with that whole experience as well. Lemme know if you need anything... seeing as I'm just down the road from you. Keep in touch and kiss that baby for me!

good luck on your induction. I'm scheduled for thursday at 7:30am. I might ask for it to be put off though, since I've never had a baby before and am not sure why she scheduled me. Hope all goes well tomorrow for you though. Keep us posted!

Thanks, I am hoping that even though there is pain, that it will be over soon.

Ninavedicci - Tuesday, 20 May
thank you so much sweetie, I will let you know when she arrives!

Ohhh..I know..I'm not sure what my Dr. will say but like you, I have nothing wrong either so I have a feeling getting induced wouldn't be something she'd consider, although I don't want to push out a 10 pounder!!! I also really want to avoid a c-section if possible. :) Yaye, you're almost at the finish line! Hope you have a safe and smooth delivery!!!

Thanks for the info babe, at least i know it's not just me. The reason why I was boggled about it, is because it's not everyday. Plus the doc told me everything was fine down there and my cultures were good. Guess I better grab some Vagisil. I hope all is well with you babe!

Hey there...I saw your post about getting the hostess of your bay shower a present. I purchased bath goodies for my host and attached a handmade tag that said "from my shower to yours. Thank you for throwing me such a lovely shower. I hope your next shower is as amazing as mine was."

melriz35 - Friday, 2 May
My best friend through me a shower last Sunday, and I got her a $50 American Express gift card so she can do what she likes. Hope this helps...................

Hey daisy04- Thanks for the advice babe. You are absolutely right, if it happens again, I will let them know how I feel. Even if I have to speak to the office manager, or whoever is in charge. It's bad enough that health insurance cost so much in the country, and so does the healthcare for that matter. You would think that when your having a baby, your already going through the motions, that so called professionals wouldn't treat you like that. At least my baby is ok, and my bp has been down all day. Thanks for your support sweetie.xxx
