I am currently a mother of 2. I have a 10 year old daughter and a 7 year old son from a previous marriage. I just celebrated my first year of marriage on March 26th. I was diagnosed with Lupus shortly after having my daughter and it has been pretty mild since. Last year I had 2 miscarriages. 1 in June and 1 in September. They both were really hard to deal with but we are now happy to find out that we are pregnant again.

Yeah!!!!! BFP today. I'm officially pregnant and moving into week 4. Can't wait to call the doctor on Monday and have a blood test to test my progestrone levels and pregnancy levels. This is the best birthday present ever and I will be due 2 days before my husbands birthday. How sweet is that.

I went to the hospital to get my levels checked today. Hopefully the doctors office will call me tomorrow with the results. I will follow-up with a second round on Wednesday the 13th which is also my birthday.

I called the doctors and my results are in. My HCG level was a 171 and the progestrone level was only 16. Nurse ordered progestrone supplements for me to take twice a day. Hope my numbers are good tomorrow.

Today is my 30th birthday and my level count came back at 505. Yeah!! It more than doubled so that is great. I will retest again next Tuesday to test my progrestrone levels and my HCG levels. I hope everything turns out well!!!

Happy Valentine's Day. I called the doctors to see when my first appointment will be and they won't schedule it until my lab work comes in next week, arggghhh. I feel like the nurses are annoyed by me and that I have to fully stay on top of my own health care. The hospital called me today to pre-register me for my lab work for Tuesday, Feb 19th and I wanted to make sure the correct labs were ordered and found out that only the HCG test was ordered. So I call the doctors and the nurse said that I don't need my progestrone level checked since I'm on the Prometrium. I had to demand that they order me the test. I told her, I don't care how much it costs or if my insurance covers it or not. She placed me on hold asked the Doctor and came back and said she will order it. So f'ing arravating. Let me tell you, I would seriously change Doctors if it wasn't for the doctor. I really like him a lot, however if I have to keep putting up with this crap from the nurses, I might change my mind.

I went yesterday for my second round of blood work and the results came in great. My HCG level increased to 9397 and my progrestrone level increased to 19.5. YEAH!!!!! I'm so excited. I was thinking that my HCG level would be in the 4000's. So this was a big surprise and my progestrone level is almost up to normal range. It's just .5 away from normal, thanks to the Prometrium. I go tomorrow for my final blood test and my ultrasound is scheduled for March 11th.

Got my second test results back today my HCG level went up to 22,016, I am sooooo excited. I can't belive how high the levels are getting. So far not much morning sickness yet. Had a little bit of nausea yesterday. The countdown until my first ultrasound begins.

5 more days until my first U/S. I'm starting to get nervous. The morning sickness (all day sickness) has really set in, ughhhh. I've been throwing up every morning for the past few days. As much as feeling sick sucks, I know my little baby is growing in there. Hope the next 5 days fly by fast!!!!!

Only 2 more days until my U/S!! I `m starting to get really nervous, since last time I was pregnant my first u/s ended with no heartbeat and a D&C. I have a good feeling about this pregnancy though because the all day sickness is out of control. I feel like my body is digesting food twice as fast and I can `t eat enough. I just weighed myself and I `ve lost 6 lbs. Which is good because I gained a lot of weight since my m/c in September.

I went to my OB yesterday and received my first exam. All is well so far. I asked him to try to hear the heartbeat with the doppler and we were only able to hear the placenta so far. He said the placenta is to load at this point to hear the heartbeat and we should hear it at my next appointment, which is on April 24th.

Friday, 4 April

I thought he moring sickness was finally gone, but once again threw up this morning. It had been 3 days without. I go to the Maternal Fetal Specialist on Monday, April 7th to get a nuchal scan. I'm so excited. Can't wait to see my little peanut again. So happy to be 12 weeks a long. It feels like time is flying by, even though October seems so far away.

I went for my ultrasound today. Everything looks great!!!! Heartbeat was at 154 bpm. I attached a copy of the picture in the photos. Next Ultrasound is on May 20th and then we find out if boy or girl. Yeah!!!

It's been awhile since I updated my profile. I've finally started feeling the baby move a lot for the last week. I love every minute of it. I went to the OB yesterday, convinced my doc for another U/S, and the baby was breech and the legs were crossed. It figures. This baby is already showing that it will be just like it's mommy and daddy, very stubborn. Luckily I have another U/S scheduled for next Tuesday. I hope he/she cooperates this time. I'll post my pictures later.

Found out today that we're having a girl!!! Her hearbeat was 143 and she is 9in and 9oz. Yeah!!!! Can't wait to pick out a name.
