Hello all.... Ive fallen in love with this web site as I have no friends in the "real" world that are preggo. This site allowed me to connect with tons of women all going through our "Birth Right" and I love every uncomfortable min of it :) My husband and I were told at 18 weeks that we were going to have a baby girl.... only later to discover that the sonogram tech had no idea what she saw and that it could be a boy..... I say is it really that hard to tell a ding-dong from a vajayjay... I guess so. Hopefully on the 2nd of july we will get to find out at our 3D sonogram. Otherwise he/she will just have to be a surprise.

July 4th.

Good news! Yesterday we had the 3D sonogram and it turns out that we're having another Girl :) Im stoked! I love little girls. I can't wait now to finish up the nursery now that I know how to decorate! We have decided to name our daughter Colette Shirley Lamb.

July 6th

We ordered the crib bedding today, I let daddy pick it out and to my surprise it was pretty girlie.... Its pink and brown with stars and what not. Adorible really. Hes got great taste. I was just shocked he picked out something with so much pink (this is comming from the man who said NO PINK lol) I think its setting in with him.....

July 11th

The crib bedding got here yesterday and right away daddy and I decorated the empty crib. I must say having her bed all set up and ready for her brings me to tears. Its so beautiful, Daddy did a great job picking out the bedding. We are almost completely ready for her arrival even tho we have 13 wks to go. I decided to hold out on the baby shower as long as we could that way there will be some great winter clothes in the stores instead of this summer madness. Where we live gets very cold and snowy so it would do her no good to have a ton of summer clothes ya know!

July 20th

Four days ago I saw a sign for baby potbelly pigs 2 weeks old, yes I did... I had to get one, my hubby and I have aways wanted a piggy. Needless to say she is by far the best pet I've ever had. Her and I bonded instantly she is a daughter to me lol. Can you imagine Clover is only 2 weeks old and she learned where to potty in only two days!!! Pigs are sooo smart I can't believe everyone dosen't have one. Sorry everyone I just love my piggy so much.

Aug 11th

31 weeks and Im OVER IT!!!! LOL Don't get me wrong pregnancy is totally a beautiful and blessed experiance but it can also single handedly be the most uncomfortable time of ones life.... Im starting to get contractions (Mostly BH Contractions) more offten and stronger. Last night I timed them and they were every 5 - 8 min and that went on for about 2 hrs then they just stopped. Ive been through this before so I know my bodies just getting ready for whats to come but a part of me just wishes it will happen now!

Aug 22nd

UGH!!!! Week 33.... Im so happy that this is closer to the end! I feel sooooo misserable :(, My lovely children have brought home a crazy cold from school. So Im all stuffed up and just all over sore and tired. I wont take any medication because its just not 100% safe for the baby so I just lay here and pretty much sweat it out! Im having tons of BH contractions and Im back to not sleeping right at all. It blows, i just wake up out of a dead sleep for no reason :( only 5- 7 weeks left to go..... ugh

Aug 31st

OMG!!!! I remember why I said I would never do this again with my last 2 pregnancys lol. How funny we forget untill it happens again. I swear this baby is going to come out with the fullest head of hair cuz I have THE WORST heartburn in history! I feel as if Colette has dropped (lightening). I just have a tiny torrso so I still can't breath, but for sure she's moved down, I never had to pee so much in my entire life and it literally feels like I have a bowling ball right in between my pelvic bone.... Its actually making it really hard for me to walk. Soon tho right?! I am so close to the end, I try to keep reminding myself of that. Who knows maybe she'll come at 37 or 38 weeks. A due date isn't set in stone.... its just an estimate.

Sept. 6th

Okay.... I want so badly to have this baby already. Im 35 weeks+1 day. Baby colette has dropped for sure and I have lower back and hip pain that could bring anyone to there knees! Im trying soooooo hard to think positively and remind myself that "This too shall end" LOL. I have a Dr apt on the 11th, Im curious to see if the dr thinks she has dropped as well and also if my cervix has made any progress. Then on the 13th I have my Baby Shower.... I'll admit Im kinda excited about the Shower (just not looking forward to people telling me how big I am).

Sept. 16th

Im so tired latley :( even tho by some mirical have been getting full nights of sleep, I think its all the body pain Ive been going through, So here I am at 36 weeks... I went into pre-term labor last week and the hospital staff managed to stop it... I was happy and pissed at the same time. I knew the baby would benifit staying in me at least 1 more week but at the same time I was like I am soooooo over this! Ever since the Dr wants me to take it easy BLAH BLAH BLAH! I told him I havn't been very active for the past month on the fact that I just CAN'T its hard for me to walk let alone do any house cleaning or anything!!!! 2-4 weeks isn't that bad I guess, I know in my mind that this to shall end! LOL soon, so very very soon.

Sept. 22nd

I got a little bit of sleep last night, but for the most part my nights are spent awake tossing and turning. I have the worst case of restlessness ever this pregnancy. Not to mention the 7 or so trips to the bathroom.... My bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs :( not fun! I have tryed every natural labor inducing trick in the book and non of them are working, so on that note I surrender. I got one of thos excercise balls to put at my desk instead of a chair and my back pain has greatly improved! I also hear that they help dialate the cervix. Im not so much worried about the Dialation of my cervix as I am the efacement. Last time I was check the Dr told me I was only dialated to 1 Cm but my cervix was still very thick :(

Oct. 3rd

Acording to Grandma today is the day lol I told hubby that the family needs to stop making predictions cuz the baby just wants to prove them wrong!!! Today Im okay with being pregnant, Im relaxed and feeling okay for the most part. Tomorrow may be diffrent lol, I'll probably be screaming at hubby to get this baby out now! Everyday now I wake up and there is always that thought in the back of my mind... Is today the day??? Im just hoping that I have this baby before next weekend because I have to go pick up my daughters from there dads house and I already told him that I wasn't going to drive over 100 miles to get them if I was still pregnant in fear that I'll go into labor! My hubby feels givin the circumstances that he should just drop them off. But my ex dosn't think like that. Hell I outta make him keep them untill the baby comes.... that would be nice.

Oct. 6th

Ugh... I totally thought yesterday was the day.... Once again it was only that stupid practice labor crap lol. This is pregnancy #3 how much practice does my body need?!?!?! I seriously wouldn't mind being pregnant if I could just sleep at night. It is 1:03 am and here I sit as always, I try everything.... pillows up the wazzo, warm milk, blah, blah, blah... nothing works. Not to mention the 100 trips up and down the stairs to the bathroom. I know I wont get much sleep when the baby gets here but at least I know the tiny bit of sleep I do get will be sooooo comfortable (and on that note on my stomach as well!) I really miss sleeping on my tummy =( 5 days till my due date and I can feel myself getting crazyer, I really hope she comes ASAP cuz I truly will lose it if I go past my due date.
