11/20/07 I had my first prenatal appointment with my OB/GYN. They did the usual tests and pap and let me hear my baby's heart beat- it was perfect, so she says! I had another shocker though, because she says that my uterus is too big for just "one" baby at only 11 weeks...So surprise surprise I have to go back next week on the 29th (Thursday) to have an ultrasound to verify if there is two baby's in there!!!! This is not the first person who mentioned this to me, as you all know...I just don't want to be high risk, have complications, nor get cut (c-section)! Other than that, twins would be a blessing.... Pray for us please!



12/2/07 Hey everybody sorry for the delay, but I went to my OB/GYN on Thursday, and there is only one baby! I got to see him/her...They were so active and kept kicking me. My boyfriend was so excited...He thinks its going to be a girl! He/She's heart beat is now 143 BPM (I am now 12 wks 5 days). I got new pictures of the baby, I'm going to post them now.

12/17/07 My next OB appointment is on January 2,2008! I can't wait! I want them to do another ultrasound for me, but who knows....I really want to know what I'm having, and by the appointment I think I'll be far enough along to find out (17 weeks); What do you guys think? They say that I'll find out at 20 weeks though- but I do not want to wait that long!!!!! Call me impatient!!!

1/3/08 Well yesterday I went to my OB appointment and got a regular check-up...Heard my baby's heartbeat, they drew blood for a protein analysis, weighed me, etc. I made my appointment for a detailed U/S for January 22 at 3pm.....I'm so excited and don't know what the hell I'm going to do to stay calm for 3 weeks until then! Well, I'm kinda hoping for a girl now, but if it's a baby boy, I wouldn't be the least bit excited! As long as my baby's healthy I don't mind! I just want to know damn it! The suspense is killing me already, and it's only been a day...Wish me luck!

1/22/08 I'm actually very happy that it's a boy, as well as Josh! Everything as far as the detailed U/S went great. The technician said it was the easiest one he had yet! It took no time at all, and everything was "perfect"!!! He also said there is "No doubt" that it's a boy- as you'll see in the pics. The only change is that instead of me being due on June 10th, I'm due on June 4th- everything measured in at 21 weeks! Yay!

2/24/2008 My next appointment is February 27th, at 8:45AM for a glucose test...I really don't feel like doing it though- drinking that nasty sugar water! I don't really like too much sugar....Hopefully it won't take too long..

2/29/08 Well, I went to my apptmnt on the 27th for my GTT, and my doctor's office called me today saying it came back good, BUT, my blood is showing that I am anemic. So now I have to take an iron supplement...I thought the iron in my prenatal pills would've been enough! I guess not- but it's expected cuz my mama anemic as well.

4/12/08 Hello ladies! I'm kind of excited cuz we're going to have a 3D U/S done on Wednesday, 4/16/08! I'm gonna see my baby's face and features- yay! Hopefully he'll give us some good shots being that we paying for it out of our pockets...Just kidding! Well, da bed is callin us- me and baby- so holla at ya gurl!
