Hello Everyone I just turned 29 years old and have been married to my husband Carl for 4 1/2 years (it will be 5 years on June 21st). This will be our first child so we are both really excited about this new experience. We just moved here to San Antonio by way of other countries we were living in including Japan and Korea. It is good to be back in the states and even better that we will get to have our first child here. My husband is in the Air Force and I work for the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Purchasing Department. We are supposed to find out the sex of our baby on March 28, 2008 and we are due on August 15, 2008. I look forward to learning from others and getting help and advice along the journey. I welcome any advice and extra support is even better. I want to congratulate all of you who are pregnant and those who have already brought life into this world-this is truly a beautiful experience and may God Bless you all!

Update: It's a boy!!!! It became official on March 28, 2008 at 3pm that we have a little boy playing around in my stomach. My husband was extremely excited because he wanted a boy first. We are naming him Jordan Lambert he was doing everything from twirling his fingers, hiding his feet, sucking this thumb, posing for pictures, sticking his mouth out to actually playing peek a boo with himself using his left hand and left eye. It was all so surreal and so cute...I can't believe he is inside of me, reality hit then and I keep staring at my belly wondering what he is doing...we are so excited!!!

We can't wait for our little one to make his debut...our families and friends are so extremely excited. We thank God for this blessing that came along at the right time when we are both ready for a baby...We are ready to shower our baby with all of the love that God allows us to!

Yea my stomach is all strange now. It only tolerates certain foods now, and the baby lets me know when he doesn't like something. Ehh. He's a picky eater :)

Thanks for writing me back. Glad to hear its not just me. I thought maybe I was getting depressed or something. The last 2 weeks my stomach really got bigger. I look funny though she lays right under my boobs so I dont look pregnant I just look like I have a beer gut-lol Noone has even asked me if I am prego yet but I get stares..Now I cant wait to get bigger to look more natural.

Yes, it is quite miserable. Actually, I'm feeling much better lately. The morning sickness has mostly subsided, although I was a bit nauseated this morning. I think it depends on what I eat the night before. He doesn't like me to eat a lot of sugar in the evenings!

Hi Dani, I am doing pretty well.. My husband has been so good to me so I really can't complain. He does everything (laundry, cleaning, cooking) so other than the occassional indesgtion which kills me a few days a week I am good to go.. Is your baby bump big yet? Mines is getting really round now!

try not to let it get 2u though. easier said than done wiv hormones up and everywhere. if i wuz in ur position mind, i wudve flipped. i mean, as if a movies gna hurt an unborn baby??? aint gna happen! i jus dnt give a toss wat people say or fink of me atm. its my body, my baby n il do th hell i want!! it aint as tho were drinking excessivly or doing drugz!?!? u know in ur own mind wat ur capable of doin thru ur pregnancy, 4get wat otherz fink, mother or not!!

mother inlaws can b SOOOO annoying!!! i went to a rave on friday, there wuz loud music and my baby wuz wriggling a little. but if i thought my baby wuz at risk, then i wudnt have gone out. people were saying 'u shudnt b out'. erm excuss me? i feel perfectly fine thanx. otha people shud keep their noses out!!!

Yes girl and I've gained 45lbs so far and I went from a sz 7 to 12..lol...I go back to my doc for my 4 weeks check on the 8th I hope I ain't gained too much more..yay your having a boy also I can't wait for my lil man to get here.
