Hello Everyone I just turned 29 years old and have been married to my husband Carl for 4 1/2 years (it will be 5 years on June 21st). This will be our first child so we are both really excited about this new experience. We just moved here to San Antonio by way of other countries we were living in including Japan and Korea. It is good to be back in the states and even better that we will get to have our first child here. My husband is in the Air Force and I work for the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Purchasing Department. We are supposed to find out the sex of our baby on March 28, 2008 and we are due on August 15, 2008. I look forward to learning from others and getting help and advice along the journey. I welcome any advice and extra support is even better. I want to congratulate all of you who are pregnant and those who have already brought life into this world-this is truly a beautiful experience and may God Bless you all!

Update: It's a boy!!!! It became official on March 28, 2008 at 3pm that we have a little boy playing around in my stomach. My husband was extremely excited because he wanted a boy first. We are naming him Jordan Lambert he was doing everything from twirling his fingers, hiding his feet, sucking this thumb, posing for pictures, sticking his mouth out to actually playing peek a boo with himself using his left hand and left eye. It was all so surreal and so cute...I can't believe he is inside of me, reality hit then and I keep staring at my belly wondering what he is doing...we are so excited!!!

We can't wait for our little one to make his debut...our families and friends are so extremely excited. We thank God for this blessing that came along at the right time when we are both ready for a baby...We are ready to shower our baby with all of the love that God allows us to!

Same here... ready for Jordan to get here. Seems like everyone around me is delivering and I still have 3 weeks left to go. I have my 36 week appt tomorrow and my last u/s as well. I hope I get a final 3D u/s as I'd like to see what he looks like now. The last one was from 28 weeks and I'm sure he has changed some since then. I'm getting so nervous about whether I have everything I need and whether he will come earlier than the c-section date. Although I'm ready, I don't want to the suprise factor either. I'm a hormonal conrol freak :)LOL!

Yeah I have a thing for cheesecake.. I just cant help myself... if i know it is there I have to eat it... its like it calls my name!!! LOL.. ah.. can we say addict?

Thats really too bad about the gestational diabetes... I have my test in 3 days... my daughter has type 1 diabetes so I guess its not soooo scary for me but I would rather not get it.. I didnt have it for her so i doubt I will get it but you never know.. I hope it stays under control for you!!!

Hi I haven't spoken to you in a while. I saw your anniversary blog and congratulations. I am hoping to have the same milestones with my hubby to be. I agree on how easy it is to get a divorce but much harder to keep the relationship strong. God bless you guys for many years to come!

Hey there! Wow your induction is not that far away now hun! Are you ready? I'm still not totally ready but will be getting a bag for the hospital together next week (just want to be prepared) I'm getting sooo excited that I will deliver in less than 4 weeks! Congratulations on your 5th wedding anniversary! Sounds like you and your hubby had a great day (very full, I felt a little tired for you while reading it, lol) and it is wonderful to hear when people work to stay together....it IS too easy to just up and leave when things get tough! Oh how I envy you. We have nothing like that here in Mississippi. I mean, we can get one at the doctor's office, but it costs $800 like a regular sonogram. We can't just go get that stuff, plus they only provide one picture at the doctor's office. That is so sorry! I wish we lived in a much more modern place.

The more you do at work the more they are going to expect you to do. So, just slow down and take your time. The world will not end if these a**es have to wait on there contracts. In a few weeks some body will have to pull your slack. Stay stress free!

same here even when I went at 16 weeks I could not believe how developed he looks already, it really made it more real for me that I was pregnant since I was not really showing at the time and it made me love him even more. I can't wait for my next one of Friday!!!
