**My husband and I are pregnant with our first child and are due this October. We decided not to plan to get pregnant, just wait and see what happens. We didn't want the stress every month of waiting to see if my period would come. We weren't actively trying to conceive but we also weren't actively preventing it either. We figured it would happen when it was suppose to. Well it didn't take long... we were married in October 2007 and pregnant by January 2008!

**We have decided not to find out the sex of the baby which is only adding to the anticipation of the birth! We have chosen Ryan William for a boys name (William is my grandfathers name) and are all over the place with girls names!! My husband likes Madison, I like Madelyn.. either way it will end up being called Maddy. Kate, Megan, Alison (Ali) and Brynn are all in the running. If it ends up being a girl we will just have to see what she "looks" like to us!

**I have had a pretty easy pregnancy up until week 22. Before then I only had morning sickness twice and was feeling great... no aches and pains. I was having severe back pain that migrated to my abdomin and was admitted to the hospital where I found out I had kidney stones. It was horrible! I am just hoping the last few months are as uneventful as the first few (wishful thinking)!

**Update 7/30: I've noticed the pregnancy getting a lot harder as I enter the third trimester. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I've just noticed a huge difference in my body the last few weeks. I am usually a very active person so it is a bit frustrating when simple things like walking my dog tire me out! As of week 29 I have put on a total of 16 pounds. I am not complaining by any means though, I love being pregnant. It's just a lot harder than I thought it would be! We had another sonogram at 27 weeks. The baby weighs 2lbs 6oz. He/She is extremely active, it moves around a lot during the day but it seems to put on a show for my husband and I at night. It is such an amazing feeling.

I just wanted to say in responce to your comment that you had left on the week 13 forums. I didnt get any stretch marks with my first until i was at the very end like 30-36 weeks is when i started to get them. I eventually had him at 36 weeks.

Thanks it took a LONG time to get a girls name, having two already! But I know it is the one if we have a girl! Thankfully the name part is done!

My son was a flipper. He was breeched at my 25 week ultrasound then at my 37 week check up I asked what position he was in they said head down. My water broke and at the hospital the docter thought he may be butt first again, and he was. They flip alot and it will just happen the way it is meant to happen. Don't worry about it.

My first baby stayed breech until 35 weeks and then did a rather uncomfortable turn. My current baby is also sitting breech and I figure she will probably be like her brother and wait. My Dr. never seemed concerened so I decided not to be. I always had plenty to freak out about.

Thats crazy that we went through the same exact thing. Wasn't it the worst moments of your life without hearing the hearbeat? I thought it was over............ Anyway now I'm feeling fine and just praying that it doesn't happen anymore, I don't think I could do it again. Good luck

That is awful that you had to go thru that!! I just have this really stubborn bladder infection that won't go away!! I have no symptoms but my doctors are worried that it may go to my kidneys, so we are currently trying to prevent that!! Thanks for your response!

KJMommy2B - Tuesday, 24 June
Did you have any problems with a bladder infection that wouldn't go away before you had the kidney stones?? My doctors are concerned that I may have a kidney stone that hasn't passed yet and thats what is causing this bladder infection to not go away!! I have had this infection for 5 months now, however I don't really have any symptoms so its not that bad! Thanks for any response!
