I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Hi Deanna, I just read your message about being 8 weeks but you thought you were 11 weeks. The same thing happened to me. When I thought I was 7 weeks the scan showed I was only 5 weeks. My cycle was bit inconsistent though.

I have horrible morning sickness that lasts all day every day. Other than that i am just tired. That is good that you are eating like crazy keep it up. Keep me posted on how things are going for you.

Similar case here, the 1st day of my last mens. period was March 31st. And my due date is Jan. 12. If I went by last mens. date it would be Jan. 5. Dr.'s generally base your due date by your period b/c people usually don't know when they ovulated or when conception took place. But thats not always accurate b/c most people, at some point or another have an irregular cycle (for a variety of reasons). Do you know when coitus (sex) took place? Or conception/ovulation? Or if you were having frequent coitus to conceive it may be harder to track. You probably just ovulated way late. Anyhoo, congratulations!! We all have a long road ahead of us.

I am not sure but doesn't the us measure the baby and you should be 2 weeks ahead of that date so if the baby measures 8 weeks you would be 10 weeks which ends up usually around the date of you LMP, i think that is what i have read in different books

Yes this happens all the time. It all depends on when you ovulated not when your LMP was. Typically women ovulate around day 14 of there cycle but not all. I ovulated on day 25 of my cycle that is why I'm only in week 8 but my LMP was 3/29. Hope this helps :)
