We had a followup scan to our insurance paid one. The earlier scan we couldnt see the face and spine real good. We got one 3D image and a bunch of 2D images. I love him soooo much and we cant wait until he gets here!

2-9-08
We had another 3D scan for Deanna's family in Texas. The 2D pics came out better than the 3D ones. Thats ok--we got to see him!!!

2-4-08
We went to the 3D place again today and got a quick scan. I love to see him!
He is still a "he"! He had the hiccups in the womb! Deanna is finally feeling lots and lots of movement. I was hugging her last night and I felt movement from the outside. I cant wait to see this guy!

Its a BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to our 2nd 3D scan last night and it is for sure a boy! I am soooooo excited......beyond words and so is Deanna. After the scan, she and I went to Target and Babies R US and we shopped until they closed!!!!! I am soooooooo happy! Here are a few pics....

This little one is stubborn!! We got scanned for over about an hour and the little one refused to open its legs. The tech thought she saw something at first but when she went back to get a still image---the little one refused to spread em! The tech showed us some peach fuzz already sprouting. I got to take my camera in the scan so I took some neat 3D shots. You can see the side of the face and the left arm. The tech was surprised it was so clear because the baby only has a few days of fat on him/her. I asked the tech what she thought she saw in the begining and she said she thought she saw a penis! But she would only say it was 51%.....!!! Because this is a privately paid scan, we go back again this coming Friday and the owner said she would scan us until we see the sex!

12-27-07

We had our 3rd prenatal appointment and the midwife was worried about Deanna's blood pressure so she changed the visits to every 2 weeks. We heard the heartbeat and scheduled the anatomical scan for January 7th..however....we go tomorrow to Womb with a View for a private gender scan. I am very excited!!!

7:45pm--Deanna and I were laying in bed talking and I gently pushed her tummy in and after I released, the baby kicked her! This happened 2 times!!!!

This morning before Deanna was to leave for work, she looked at me and said," I just felt something---it felt like rain inside my belly right under my belly button"! It only lasted a few seconds. I think she felt the baby!!!!

11-30-07

Deanna and I had our 2nd prenatal appointment today. They checked the heartbeat and it was 164. It was great! We are 14 weeks today!

11-14-07

Yesterday was a long and scary day for Deanna and I. She called me at work around 10am and was crying because she was cramping and bleeding. She wasnt spotting---it was like a period. The OBGYN office didnt seem to be worried but we were so I picked her up and we went to the ER.

The dr saw some old blood on the cervix and seems to think maybe one of her fibroids was bleeding which is not hurting the baby. Her lab work was good and the ultrasound was amazing. Wow--what a change from just 11 days ago at the first prenatal visit. The little one was swimming around and doing flips inside - like 360 degree flips. The tech was soo nice and she gave us a DVD with the pics and also printed some out for us. The baby measured 11 weeks and 4 days--which changes the EDD to May31st. I love this baby and I am so glad we spent the 50 copay for the ER to see the baby. Thank God for prayer.

Everything is going good. Deanna seems to be growing out of the MS stage! We hit 11 weeks today and I am so happy and glad that the little ones seems healthy. We go for our 2nd prenatal appointment on November 30th. I have started taking weekly pics of Deanna's belly. I love her and love the baby so much. We like the name Savanna for a girl and not sure about a boy yet.

Deanna is feeling good today. I can not wait until our appointment on Friday. I hope hope hope we can hear the heartbeat instead of just seeing it. Deanna has been feeling kinda down lately and I know it is the hormones. I think hearing he heartbeat will cheer her up. She has not thrown up but feels sick alot. Hope all is well with everyone.

10-29-07--all is well--we have a dr appt. this friday and I can not wait. I am also wanting to purchase a home doppler as soon as we can hear the heartbeat! I hope all is well.

Hi everyone. We are Deanna and Carmen. We are a gay couple that recently found out we are having a baby! Deanna is the pregnant one and I, Carmen, am the one that joins all these pregnancy websites!

We live in Harrisburg, PA and our due date is around June 4th. We dont go to the dr until November 2nd but we have already had 2 US due to some light spotting. The 1st US showed us the gestation sac and that was at almost 5 weeks. The 2nd US showed us a heartbeat of 120 and the actual tiny baby.

We are hoping for a daughter but of course ultimately we want a healthy child.

Deanna is nauseous, exhausted, moody and hungry but she has not thrown up which it nice. I wish I could feel all her symptoms so she didnt have to!

I love her and I love this baby!!!
