Babies change you. They change you from well-rested, coherent adults into sleep-deprived, dazed parents who can't remember when they last brushed their teeth. Thankfully, that only last for a few months while you get used to each others. Sure you'll have to rearrange your life, but that's okay. All that was once important pales in comparison to one of your baby's smiles. gurgles, or coos. You'll wonder how you never noticed the hole in your heart that they now fill so completely. They cause you to rediscover the butterflies in your stomach on Christmas morning and to become excited again about a new bike or a new doll :)

At first you were a tiny seed in my womb that grew more and more each day. Now your Dad and I are anxious because we know that you are on your way. We will wait ever so patiently to see your loving face, For we know that it will be filled with wonderful loving grace. You are our little miracle sent to us from up above.
