NEWBORN 1 month
Milestones and Measurements
At birth Ruxton weighed 8lbs 6 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. By one month he was 21 1/2 inches long and weighed 10lbs! As for milestones, he recongized his mommy!
2 months 3 months
Milestones and Measurements
At 2 months Ruxton weighed 12lbs 8 oz. He was 23 1/2 inches long. As for accomplishments he smiled for the first time on 3-7-07. At 3 months Ruxton weighed 13lbs 12 oz. He was 25" long. Accomplishments for this month....he can hold his head up when on his belly and is trying to rollover.
4 months 5 months
Milestones and Measurements
At 4 months Ruxton weighed 14lbs and 9 oz. Not sure how tall he is didn't get measured this month. As for accomplishments...He rolls over on both sides and starting to bear a lot of weight on your arms. At 5 months we don't have any measurements however Ruxton started crawling right at the end of June.
6 months 7 months
Milestones and Measurements
At 6 months Ruxton weighed 17lbs, and was 26" long. Started to sit up by yourself this month. By the end of the month he was a pro. At 7 months we didn't get any measurements. Started to pull up on furniture. He can crawl and go to a sitting positon by himself.
8 months 9 months
Milestones and Measurements
At 8 months Ruxton can walk around furniture and pulls up VERY fast. 9 months Ruxton weighed 20lbs 5 ozs and was 29 1/2 inches long. He started to let go of things and stand by himself.
10 months 11 months
Milestones and Measurements
Ruxton at 10 months is WALKING!!!! I can't keep him still. Ruxton at 11 months celebrated his first Christmas. Walking like a pro and now is climbing on top of everything. He can get on the couch byhimself!!

Ruxton seems to be growing up VERY fast. He has already accomplished most of the physical developments. He has started to learn a few words...daddy, mama, night, bye, yes, no. The best part is when I ask him to go and get his bottle and he does it! We went to the doctor today and he weighted 21 pounds and 12 oz and was 30 1/4 iches tall. He is becoming a big boy!

Thanks. I will definitely let you all know. I have an appt with the doctor who induces on Thurs the 21st (my bday) to see if he will do it. 2 days before I am due anyways, so why not. lol. But tonight the hubby and I are planning on having sex to encourage the labor to come. lol. That and once I give birth we have to wait another 6 wks or so. lol. SO wish me luck! I can't stand being prego anymore. I just want this baby out NOW. I can't wait to see what he looks like. That's the best part of having a baby! Seeing how you and your hubby look mixed together. lol.

Yes, this pregnancy went by a LOT faster. With Alexis I knew EXACTLY how far I was and where she was in development. This time I just know every Saturday is another week. lol. She keeps me so occupied. Tomorrow is her birthday! I can't believe how fast they grow. The 1st 2-3 months seem endless, but then you want that time back later on. lol. Alexis was look at a pic of Ruxton and going crazy. She loves pics of people. Pointing at pics and laughing. What is new with Ruxton? I can't believe in about 3 wks I'll have another infant! I have no idea how I survived labor, and I am still nervous about this time. A watermelon through that tiny hole is NOt fun of course, and I remember how much it hurt. I know the end reward is worth it, but I can't be happy till he's in my arms. lol. I think Avery will have either the same amount or MORE hair than she had at birth. Oh, do you know if being 37 wks is too late to switch doctors? I don't like my current doctor and I am nervous about her delivering my baby. lol. Think it's too late?

yeah, as the days go by I feel betta and betta about this pregnancy... I mean we are half way there and time is on our side now... granted he can't live on his own yet but in a month he will be able to if he has to... so that makes me have more hope... and i just thank god for everyday that I stay preggers cause that is just more precious time for him... I am so excited to see him but I don't want him to come too early... LOL... bitter sweet...

Thank you. It makes me feel much better knowing you got through it alive. lol. I think it'll be worth it in the end, but I am worried about the beginning. haha. I am nervous now because I am due in about 4 1/2 wks. Last night I went to pee and I felt like I was dripping, but I thought it jsut had to be discharge or the muscous plug. Then I went to bed and felt BH contractions for at least 1 hour. I was so freaked out that he could come this early. I think the stress in this house, and taking care of a toddler who clings to me is taking its toll.

Chuckie Cheese sounds good. I bet he'll have a blast there. I haven't been to ones of those since I was 9. lol. I think our 2nd baby will do things early like walking, from watching Alexis do it. *sigh* Only about 4 1/2 weeks left! I am so nervous. 2 kids only 12 mths apart! I MUST be crazy. lol. Any tips you can give me being that you have more than 1?

I know, it feels like yesterday that we were going nuts wondering when we were going to POP! lol. For Alexis' 1st b-day, we are having family over and having a Blues Clues party. She LOVES that show. Maybe about 15 people. What are your plans for Ruxton's? Alexis can now climb up the stairs, and we made her crib a daybed, so she can climb down from there now too. lol. What is new with Ruxton? Is he walking yet? I think Alexis is close.
