NEWBORN 1 month
Milestones and Measurements
At birth Ruxton weighed 8lbs 6 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. By one month he was 21 1/2 inches long and weighed 10lbs! As for milestones, he recongized his mommy!
2 months 3 months
Milestones and Measurements
At 2 months Ruxton weighed 12lbs 8 oz. He was 23 1/2 inches long. As for accomplishments he smiled for the first time on 3-7-07. At 3 months Ruxton weighed 13lbs 12 oz. He was 25" long. Accomplishments for this month....he can hold his head up when on his belly and is trying to rollover.
4 months 5 months
Milestones and Measurements
At 4 months Ruxton weighed 14lbs and 9 oz. Not sure how tall he is didn't get measured this month. As for accomplishments...He rolls over on both sides and starting to bear a lot of weight on your arms. At 5 months we don't have any measurements however Ruxton started crawling right at the end of June.
6 months 7 months
Milestones and Measurements
At 6 months Ruxton weighed 17lbs, and was 26" long. Started to sit up by yourself this month. By the end of the month he was a pro. At 7 months we didn't get any measurements. Started to pull up on furniture. He can crawl and go to a sitting positon by himself.
8 months 9 months
Milestones and Measurements
At 8 months Ruxton can walk around furniture and pulls up VERY fast. 9 months Ruxton weighed 20lbs 5 ozs and was 29 1/2 inches long. He started to let go of things and stand by himself.
10 months 11 months
Milestones and Measurements
Ruxton at 10 months is WALKING!!!! I can't keep him still. Ruxton at 11 months celebrated his first Christmas. Walking like a pro and now is climbing on top of everything. He can get on the couch byhimself!!

Ruxton seems to be growing up VERY fast. He has already accomplished most of the physical developments. He has started to learn a few words...daddy, mama, night, bye, yes, no. The best part is when I ask him to go and get his bottle and he does it! We went to the doctor today and he weighted 21 pounds and 12 oz and was 30 1/4 iches tall. He is becoming a big boy!

it wasnt an immediate thing. i started the birth control pills in dec. of 05 and i began takeing the diet pills in feb. of 06. i took both for about 6 months and became pregnant in august of 06. i thought the birth control pills would do the trick and do their job but i didnt bother to ask my obgyn about taking the two together, so as long as you ask either your obgyn or regular doc. i think youll be fine.

the pill ortho tri-cyclen, it turns out that the diet pills i was takeing too to lose weight weakened my birth control.

aw your kids really do have really cute names!! very creative!! im having a little girl in july. i am so excited!! i cant wait. ive been reading all these pages with woman that have just had their babies and im like 'thats what i want!!' its just taking forever :O) anyways congrats!! and i hope he is healthy and happy!!

Your family is so beautiful! And I love the names! Are they popular names in USA cos some of them I have never heard of! Also, how do you juggle your attention between 4 kids? I am worried that my eldest, Bradley, is becoming a bit of a telly addict, and only eats junk food cos when I am not dealing with Billy I am trying to sterilise bottles, do house work etc! I must be crazy to be considering a third or even a fourth!!!

Will weighed 6lbs 10 oz. He went down to 6lbs 6oz but gained it back in two days. He now weighs 9lbs 6 oz. he likes to eat. We had to stay in the hospital. I never got to go home until he was discharged, because the hospital is 45 minutes from our home and I am breastfeeding. It was hard because I was sore and exhausted and had to stay in a Peds romm with him. So all I had was a recliner and a cot type bed. It wasn't fun. Jaundice runs in our family due to RH incompatibility. I am Rh- and Will's blood was positive. I have found out that newborn jaundice is quite common though. I was still anxious about it anyway. I had never been so thankful of anything as when they told us we could go home!

Ruxton is a cutie pie. Will had to be under a billi-light after he was born b/c of jaundice. We had to stay in the hospital though. Try being post-partum with a sore bottom, staying in pediatrics. Not Fun!!!! Will was there for three days too. his billirubin got to 19.5 I was glad when his yellow finally went away.

Hello. Congrats!! I just have a real quick question for you. I see that you had said that you have thyroid problems. I do as well and I am still taking the pills and I am breastfeeding. I was not told to stop. I even took my pills when I was pregnant. Where you told not to take the pills when breastfeeding? I am a little concerned now. Thanks

Thanks for the post. I've had alot of people post about how I look after I gave birth and you know the funny thing is that while I was in labor I intentionally wouldn't touch my hair or face so it would stay looking decent for my after labor pictures. Now I think back and I can't believe I was so worried about my after labor pictures. How ridiculous huh? Anyway, you have a beautfiul little boy. Do you remember how many weeks he was when you noticed he was awake alittle more during the day?
