So...I'm thinking...this is the best most incredible, exciting thing I will ever do in my life! Not expected but already so loved and I simply can't wait to take this little one to the petting zoo and the pool! Nothin but love going around! What an adventure!
Yesterday ( February 19th) I had my Ultrasound and all is wonderful withthe baby so far which is such a relief! two arms, two legs, closed lips! Yay! And the most wonderful part of all is that I know now that I am having a little boy! (haha! even though he tried to hide his package with his little hand already! haha!) It was so beautiful to see him in there moving around! so precious!

Saturday, 14 June well being 35, we really do hope that we would have more children, but who knows.. but either way, would want to wait at least a while before getting pregnant again, this has really taken a toll on my body... (got gestational diabetes).. so would want to get myself in good shape before trying again. kristalsfirst -

Friday, 13 June Haha, I'm the same way. I don't take anything from anyone, but I honestly feel like if I were to start something it would be more drama than it's worth. And then my husband would be caught in the middle of it! Thank you though! Once the baby is here though, I can guarantee that I will put my foot down. She is also the type of person that tells you what to do and that doesn't fly well with me. Haha. :) shirmar -

Wednesday, 11 June Hey-- she was here for the shower, but it seemed like she didn't want to be here. She didn't even bring a gift. I don't wanna sound greedy, but she could have brought something. I mean it's not like she just found out I am having a baby. It has been since November that she has known. I wouldn't do that to her. She didn't even stay very long after like I wanted her to. My sister flew in from Cali and I wanted us girls to hang out afterwards, but my friend just left. The next day my husband wanted to take us to the lake and my friend was going to go with her boyfriend and wanted me to call her to let her know what lake we were going to go to, but I didn't, I just enjoyed my sis and my family. I just feel like she could have been more excited and wanted to be around. dasha -

Hey. NO worries. thats what mine looked like just last week. Now its got walls and paint. Noooo worries.
I'll work out. It still needs to have the floor sanded and closet doors put on, and the border of wallpaper, and all the outlets fixed into place....
Then we can get started on the bathroom and our room.
Best of luck. JAGJAC -
Wednesday, 11 June Hi Hun. Im feeling the same, getting loads of pains down below. Turns out to be the baby engaging and putting pressure on my bits. Had checkup today and he is 3/5 engaged. Had nightmare last week - blood pressure been high so been in and out of hospital. Seems to have settled but still up a little. Midwife coming to check on me every 2 days. Im starting to feel scared to go out on my own because of the discomfort down below. Dont wnat to go into labour out and abouty on my own!
Hows things with you? You fed up yet?
Our little monkey is measureing in at 6ib already - im worried im not going to be able to get him out!!!
Do you know how much your baby is measuring in at?
Been reading messages on board - do you guys have internal exams before labour starts in US? We dont in Uk until we are in labour unless something wrong. heather518 -
Wednesday, 11 June hahaha yeah I have to! I'm completely miserable if I don't. I try to do at least an hour of cardio everyday on the eliptical and a few days a week I try to do weights and the strength training machines. I'm so ready for this to be over so I can not feel like a huge beached whale anymore haha But it stinks because even by going to the gym everyday I feel like it's not making any difference because my belly is still MASSIVE so I feel fat haha but in the end hopefully it'll help. nimzm2b -
Wednesday, 11 June HI thanks, congrats on your little boy, I'm also pleased to say I'm having a boy. I asked my midwife about my ankles and she took a blood test, to test my liver and bile. I'm not sure how the two are connected? In a way I wish I hadn't mentioned it because i HATE blood tests and needles in general!! I'm such a wimp!!

Monday, 9 June Omg'osh that pregnancy mast stuff sounds terrible. I will def. be sure to use lots of protection. I did use spf 30 on my tummy and face, though I must admit I used tanning lotion for my legs w/ no protection. I'm Latina so I really need to beware of pigmantation, I'm naturally yellow, and I've noticed a lot of brown spots here and there so I need to maybe stay out the sun all together. babygal187 -
Saturday, 7 June Thank you about the pics. I need to update them. It's neat to look at them as time goes by. My c-section scar is very small and hides well, but it's still there. I wear my pants supper low. I mean lower than my pubic line at times. It looks better on my hips. I see on tv how they seem to make the incision small like you said. But my son's father said he couldn't believe how big the opening was during surgery in real life. He said it was crazy for the small size of hole they cut.
I'm just hopping my doctor this time does a good job and I heal well just like the last time. kristalsfirst -
Friday, 6 June thank you for your responce to my post. MooMommy -
Friday, 6 June ooooh I hate it when that happens....seriously...why do computers do that?? don't piss a preggers lady off or else you may find yourself thrown through a window lol....
OMG don't hate me...but I had a mental picture of you walking around holding up you belly and it's making me giggle.... my belly seems to be holding up....i try doing little sitting crunches with my upper abs so that they hold it up...ahve no idea if it helps but it makes me feel better and ilke i'm doing something!! lol aarifa4eva -

Friday, 6 June I tried raseberry teat with my first, it did nothing that I was aware of. lol. When ur in that much pain I dont think anything helps! But after that I used no tea of anything to make it easier and my second labor was very easy and qucki and I had no pain until my water broke and about 7cm... and I pushed 4 times. My 3rd I was having contractions but got to the hospital at 5cm and she was born 10 minutes and 2 pushes later. I just dont think the tea works!
PS. Im not kidding baout the mansions! LOL They are cheap in Manitoba!!! I mean a house with an indoor pool and a tennis court is a mantion to me! LOL! MooMommy -
Friday, 6 June well part of it...if i'm to be honest....is because it makes me walk so much and I think it's really keeping my weight down and keeping me more mobile and flexible which wil help my labour....second reason is...i'm in sales and i'm hoping to make a couple more for the extra baby money...and third...i'm a glutton for punishment LOL....this week has been horrible though cause i developed bad carpal tunnel in my right hand and my ankles are so swollen they're like sausages...ewwwww....and i really don't care to be here anymore...i come in when i feel like it...taking a later train then normal...so it's not too bad....
how are you doing?? do you have the nursery decorated "in theory"? What theme are you going with? babypatrick -
Friday, 6 June thank you :) I will try that too.
