You won't need to try any secret recipes to bring on labor. Have your emergency numbers ready. Don't wait until the last minute to get your nursery ready. We predict your baby will come 1-2 weeks early. Your baby will most likely be born in the evening. Justmommies predicts that your baby will weigh approximately 7.7 pounds and that your labor will be about 6 hours long.

I am 33 years old and have been married to my husband for 8 happy years. Before my husband and I met I already had two children a son now age 13 (soon to be 14) and a daughter now age 12. My husband and I were married for 2 years before we got pregnant with our son who is now 5 years old and then we had our daughter and is now 3 years old. We were very shocked to find out that I was pregnant again with my now 5th child. We found out that this one is another girl. We are very excited so now our 3 year old daughter will have a sister to share her experiences with.

I have been taking care of my mother full-time for a year and a half now since she has end-stage liver disease. When I started taking care of her, I decided to go back to school and get my associates degree in medical assisting. I go to school online full-time so I can stay home and take care of my mother and make sure that she doesn't have any problems.

We are excited and can't wait for Dorothy's arrival in only a few short months.

Today I went to the doctor for my 35 week check-up and asked the doctor to check to see if I was dialating since I have been having contractions and a lot of pain. She checked me and stated that I `m between 1 and 1 and half cm dialated and 50% efface. I told her that I know that they don `t normally check until 36 weeks, but with this being my 5th child and with all of the pains that I `ve been experiencing I wanted to make sure that I was no where near 4 cm. If I was I would have to be ready at anytime now for the baby to come. I `m still a little worried about the thinning out part, but the dialation is good for me right now. As long as she can hang on for a couple more weeks, I can wait.

Friday, 25 Jan
I went to the doctor this past Tuesday for my 37 week check up. I have not changed from the week before excpet that I may have dialated 1/2cm. The effacement is still the same and the baby is at -2 station. I got my B-Strep test back and it came back negative!!!! I was actually shocked it came out negative since all of my other pregnancies came out positive, most say that if it is positive one time then it is normally positive everytime. But then again, this whole pregnancy has been totally different. I normally go into preterm labor by 32 weeks and end up in the hospital atleast once a week until I deliver. I have not had any preterm labor, and have not been in the L&D except for the tour..LOL!!! I will be 38 weeks tomorrow and I `m soooo hoping that this baby comes next week. If I haven `t had the baby before my 38 week appointment next Tuesday, I `m going to ask the doctor how big she thinks that the baby might be. I know that it will be an estimate, but my last one was 7lbs and 15oz, but I had her in 20 minutes. I was shocked that I had her natural with nothing (not even an IV) everything happened so fast none of us had time think. I will keep you updated, if the baby hasn `t come I will update about the doctor appointment next Tuesday.

Tuesday, 5 Feb
I am sooooo tired today for some reason. Last night I couldn `t keep my eyes open and slept from 8:00PM until 8:00AM. This is very unusual for me since I have been staying up well past 3AM every night since I have been in the 3rd trimester. Today I can `t seem to keep my eyes open...odd. I went to the doctor today and he said that the baby has dropped from -2 station to 0 station, but I `m still 2cm dialted and 50% effaced. If I don `t have the baby by this weekend I will be seeing the doctor on Monday and get induced next week. This is the first pregnancy out of five that I have actually gone full term. Out of the four I already have 2 (the boys) came 2 weeks early. One daughter came 3 weeks early and the other daughter came one week early. So for me to carry all the way to 40 weeks is a miracle. I also had a lot of preterm labors with the others, this one I have had NONE. Hopefully, the next post I have up here is when the baby is born!! If not it will be an update on the induction.

Monday, 11 Feb
Ok, so today I have my appointment after my due date. This has never happened to me before, so I am nervous and anxious to get this all over with. I `m scared to death that the baby will be huge to the point that I will have to have a c-section. Actually, I rather go ahead and have the c-section than try and have it vaginally and then have to go in for a c-section. I have a doctor `s appointment in about an hour and a half (3:45PM) to find out what the doctor wants to do. The doctor I saw last week said that they will go ahead and induce me if I go past my due date. Well, today I `m seeing another doctor in the group and hope that she doesn `t say `let `s wait another week `. I will really go off then. I am really hoping that they will go ahead and admit me today so I can start this whole process. Having nausea, runny bm `s (I know tmi), and cramping with some contractions that aren `t making any process (that I know of anyway) is really frustrating. I know that I will get some good sleep after the baby comes because I will have my body back. I rather be woken up by a baby crying to be changed, feed or be held than have it inside and not know when I `m going to go into labor. If I don `t post anything after today, it means they finally induced me or the baby came on her own. Wish me luck!!!

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hey,

How have you been?! Igot your numbers, I just haven't had a chance to sit down with time to myself to call, but I will soon! That's so cool about Dorothy, it's amazing how fast they grow and develop! Jasmine was a little behind since she was born with some problems, but she's doing great with tummy time now and holding her head up better every day for longer periods. She's smiling and laughing now and is focusing on people a lot more! She's also 22 inches long now and almost 11 lbs, the doctor said she's ahead of schedule for weight since she was only 3 lb15 oz at birth, so I'm happy about that! It seems that time is flying with the little ones. I talked to my husband briefly about having anymore in the future and we're thinking about trying for one more when Jasmine is 2, so the baby will be born around when she's nearly 3, so they're not as close as the her and my first daughter lol. That would mean that my first will be in Kindergarten so I'll only have to have 2 in the house during the whole day LOL. It's funny how different the two girls are though, Jasmine seems to be much more needy (not in a bad way or anything), but always wants to be around us hehe. Mikaela loves to be around us too, but she's always been a bit more independent at everything (even as a baby), she's a little easier haha. I love them both tons though, they make my life! I'll definitely have to give you a call sometime, I'll call from my Husbands cell because I'm on vacation visiting him in Tennessee right now for the month of May and I can't find my darn charger for my cell, so I can't use it until I find it. We're going to be moving down to Tennessee (I see that you're in Georgia, some parts are only about 2 hrs from me, so that's cool)! Alright, I hope everyone is doing great! Have a good day!

Hey,

Haven't talked in a while, I don't have internet right now at my place so I went to my mom's to use it because I need to get plane tickets for TN to see my husband for the month of May (he's working down there right now with his business), so I came online to check out how the baby and how you were doing?! Jasmine is catching up fast, she's somewhere around 10-11 lbs now (I know not big for a 3 1/2 month old, but for her it's big lol). She's getting bigger every week (a eater lol). She smiles all the time and tries to laugh a little, but it comes out like a cough LOL. Whenever I get the chance to post new pics (I have lots) I'll do that because they look so different every week. Hope all is well!

That's cute! I hope your Easter is going well! Jasmine is 11 weeks old now, you're right, times flies! She's always smiling and still doesn't sleep through the night like my first daughter does. They're all different though, so maybe it'll change (hopefully soon lol). Hope all is well!

LovingMommy - Tuesday, 26 Feb
She's sooo cute!! I love when they smile in their sleep. Jasmine just started to smile while looking at me, I love it! I think it's funny that I just looked at your other four children's pictures and the oldest two look alike and so do the youngest two lol. Congrats on a healthy baby girl! I spoke to a woman who had mastitis and she said that she had to end up going to get antibiotics from her doctor and once it was treated and was ok she continued to breastfeed. She said it was very painful and she was fairly sick from it. She had that and thrush at another time, but both were treated well. I was thinking the same thing in regards to the second sack, perhaps a twin from way early on in the pregnancy, weird how things work out naturally right?! So is this little girl going to be your last, or do you guys want one more? We decided we'll try for one more in about 4 years from now, we want the little girls to grow up a bit first and for us to get more financially stable and get a house before we think about any more. Hope you're family and yourself are doing well!! Ttyl,

Nadja

YAY! I'm so happy that she's here!! Yay for quick labors and deliveries too, even if it seemed hectic! I'm glad she's healthy and that you and the rest of your family is doing well with the new blessing. Good luck with everything and keep in touch!

Congrats!!!

Hey,

A few more days now! Hopefully she'll stop with her stubborn streak and come very soon! I hear you on the full term comment, both my girls felt it not necessary to stay in that long LOL. We want one more in 5 years, watch that one go to 40 weeks with my luck LOL. Well definitely keep me updated, good luck with everything!

LovingMommy - Friday, 1 Feb
Hey,

I haven't spoken to you in a while and wanted to let you know that we have our little girl home now!! She's doing wonderful, she stayed in the nicu for 3 weeks, but is fine now. She's breastfeeding great! 8 more days for you, hopefully sooner! Good luck with labor and delivery and I wish you the best with the little one!

SRRiley - Tuesday, 22 Jan
Talk to your dr about your desire to get your tubal done while you're still in the hospital. He/she may be willing to induce you on a Monday, close to your due date, to ensure that you have the baby on a weekday. Good luck!

I am having the cramping as well. I had contractions all day yesterday, they stopped a little while in the evening and started back up lastnight. They aren't regular, but definately making me nervous. I still have 2 days until I am 37 weeks and my shower isn't until next weekend, so I am completely NOT ready! lol. I lost my plug last weekend and was 1 cm at my doc's appt on wednesday. With my first son, I lost my plug and dialated exactly 2 weeks before delivering and he was my first child. SO I am really scared that everything will happen a lot faster this time around. The hard part for me is, the cramping is almost dull and constant like period cramps, so I am finding it really hard to time them.

hoopy - Thursday, 17 Jan
when you pee and it is orange it usually means you are dehydrated, or your blood sugar lv's are really high. Drink plenty of water, and see if that helps it. I would also call you doc and ask about it to be on the safe side.

margiemom - Thursday, 17 Jan
yes i have had the orange pee after contractions. my doc said i probably had a cntraction from not drinking enough water and the orange pee proved that but he took a urine anyway , sure enuff he was right.

LovingMommy - Monday, 14 Jan
Thank you very much!! They didn't say when she'll be coming home, only when she's ready they say. Hopefully another week and no longer, but we'll see. I can't wait to bring her home and be able to hold her and love her all day long, instead of just feeding times in the NICU. Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy and I hope you have a great labor and delivery! Soon you'll be holding your little one!

LovingMommy - Thursday, 10 Jan
Thanks! When I went into the hospital on the 2nd, I was checked then and was also 50% effaced, which like you said, kind of got me more worred than being almost 1 cm dilated lol. You're getting close to 36 weeks though, so you'll be fine soon! I'm praying for you to have a safe and quick delivery!

LovingMommy - Thursday, 10 Jan
Hey,
Everything did go well at that doctors appointment, but we had her a few days after that lol on the 4th!

Hi I too have been experiencing the cervical pressure that feels like when he stretches out his head is gonna rip me open. I find that laying on my side helps, sitting upright makes it worse and also standing as you say. My midwife told me last week that his head was not fully engaged, and he was bobbing up and down trying to get in position when he does this..... But ouch I am totally there with you, is a horrible feeling that can make u feel quite sicky. I'm not sure if he is engaged or not yet, will find out next week - def. I did not get this with my first child. feels as if he is as night time due to pressure and the way I have to walk with my legs spread LOL oh I can't wait to have my body back. take care x
