Expecting my first!!! It's A Boy!

I found out on 4/22 that I am pregnant. I have never been more scared and happy at the same time in my life. I was 7 weeks pregnant when I found out. When I was 9 weeks I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time and when I was 11 weeks I got to see the baby on ultra sound.

I had an ultra sound at 20 weeks 1 day and found out its a boy, but I already knew that lol I don't know how but I could just feel it.

I had my baby shower today and Oh My Gosh I was so tired of opening up presents lol but they were all very appreciated. I got so much stuff I think I only need a few small things and thats it!! I'm glad about that though cause babys can be very expensive lol. It went great though a lot of people showed up the food was wonderful and the games were fun. Its weird because I never thought I would be having a shower due to the fact I thought I could not get pregnant, so it was kinda wierd for me but I loved it, as I love being pregnant. It is the best thing ever.

I have had so many ups and downs this pregnancy due to problems with my ex and it has had me thinking a lot lately and I am realizing its just not worth it to stress me and the baby out, my child is more important to me than anyone and he will always come first. I am done letting this man stress me out so bad. He has been there through everything and has been wonderful about it but at the same time he hurts me emotionally to much and I can't take anymore. I am proud to be a single mother and I also have the help of my parents so thats all I need. All I care about is that my baby is healthy.

I am finally 32 weeks but boy does it feel like time is just dragging. I am so ready to hold my baby boy but at the same time I like it that he is safe inside the womb and nobody can harm him. I am so nervous about being a mom, this is my first time. It's crazy the things I already worry about and hes not even here yet. I am sure I will do fine and I will protect him with everything I have. I have finally got the room done (the baby and I are sharing a room) and I'm so happy that its finally finished. I live with my parents for the time being so he won't have his own room until I move out. Well thats all for now.

Well I am now on Level 2 bedrest. I was in the hospital all night Sunday the 21st until noon on monday for contractions but they are not strong enough to do anything. They gave me a shot to stop the contractions and a steriod shot to develop the babys lungs then I had to go back Tuesday morning to get the second steriod shot. I was having contractions all 3 days and had a really bad headache with them so I called the doc because of the headache and I had nausea and they called me back and told me I had to go to Labour and Delivery again! I so didn't want to but anyway I got there at 5:30 Wednesday and I didn't get to come home until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday! So now I just get to sit at home and be bored till Slayton Daniel decided to come. Still having contractions some of them give me little cramps in my lower belly but nothing serious so who knows when he will come.
