I have been with Chris for 8 years and married for 1 year. He is my best friend! I am so happy that we are having a baby! We are so excited! This will be our first child! I am so excited to know if it is a boy or a girl. I don't care as long as he or she is healthy!!! I have been so lucky not to have morning sickness. I have been sick a couple of times but not a constant thing thank god! I have been moody! Cranky, happy and then I will cry for no reason at all! I have been eating like crazy. I am very picky with what I eat. But if it is something I like I eat a lot of it!:-) I am looking forward to the weeks ahead in learning each week the different stages my baby will go through!! I am due August 20, 2007. Congradulations to everyone!!!!

I had an appointment on Feb 27 and the doc was unable to let my husband and I know what we are having. We heard the heart beat for the first time and it was wonderful. 150 beats per minute. How exciting is that!!! I did get tears in my eyes. My doc said we could find out the sex March 26 which is the day after my birthday. That will be the best birthday present!!!! I have to get my blood work done before March 26 so they will have the results on March 26. I am so scared about that. I really hope my baby is healthy. I truly am scared! I have no history in my family of problems but I just have these horrible feelings. I can not wait to find all this stuff out. Until then I am pretty sure I will be a wreck worrying!! Everyone think of me!!! :-) Good luck to all of you as well!!!

I have felt the baby move for about 2 weeks now. Today I felt the baby all the way to the top right of my tummy . I can feel it on the outside of my tummy which this is the first time today. It is really weird. Normally I feel the little one in the middle under my belly button. Maybe this other feeling isnt the baby? I have my big appointment Monday and I am so excited! It has already been such a long wait knowing Monday is the big day!! I am nervous but so excited!!! I also get my blood test results back. I am scared!!!! I will update everyone Tuesday when I come back to work.... :-)

3/26- I had my ultra sound today! We were supposed to find out what our baby was today but the baby didnt cooperate!!! We saw what looked to be a pee pee but the doctor was not 100% positive. Our doctor said he is 70% sure it is a boy! I was so happy about our baby being healthy but disappointed about not knowing what we are having. My due date has also changed to Aug 12!!! That was exciting one last week to wait!! Yay!!!! I have pictures but I don't have a scanner. :-( I have this one picture that you can see the little object sticking between the middle of the baby's legs. I think its a boy but I am not ready to go out and buy anything blue until my doctor says 100%! My next appointment is April 17th at 2:15pm!!! So long to wait again!Hopefully this next time we will know for sure!!!!! Good luck to all of you who have there appointments coming up!!!!

My prego belly at 20 weeks and 5 days. Sorry about the quality. I took this picture with my cell.

Hey girls,

My baby is doing really well. He or she is going crazy today all over my belly!! It is such a good feeling!!!! I have my appointment on 4/17 to try and find out what I am having. I can not wait. I want so bad to buy stuff for my little one. I have a confession to make. I bought a little boy outfit!! I really wanted it. It is just so cute!! My hubby and I have these really good friends and they are having a boy so I figure if we don't get our boy this time I will give the outfit to our friends! But please everyone keep your fingers crossed that this time the little babe will let us have a peek!!!! I hope everyone is doing well!!!

ITS A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5/14-

I had my gloucose test done yesterday. I passed! I am so thankful for that! My iron is low and so my doctor wants me to take an iron supplement. I am hoping once I begin to take it I will get more energy because I have been exhausted. I have gained 18 lbs total. My belly measured at 27. I don't know what that means but that is what my doctor said! LOL!! I have also been worried about the gender of my baby. I was told in April we were having a boy. I went out shopping like a crazy woman this past weekend and I registered so I was worried that after doing all that I was going to be told I was not having a boy and that I was having a girl. Well I asked the doctor to check again and so we looked and there it was again plain as day.... My little guys boy parts. I am so excited!!! My hubby always goes with me to my appointments but he didnt go this time because I thought all I was doing was the gloucose. I met him after for dinner and I told him that it was confirmed again that we are having a boy! He was so excited. He was like I feel like the first time I was told!! He said he is just so happy! I can not wait to meet my son!!! My hubby and I are so lucky!!!! I hope everyone is doing well with there little ones and familys!!!!!

8/7 HAD MY BEAUTIFUL BABY BOY MARK @ 7LBS 14OZ AND 20 INCHES LONG!!!!!!!!

Hey there, I noticed you and Amanda were talking about Reflux/GERD. My little guy was diagnosed with that as well. What a pain...he didn't projectile vomit...he chocked and then spits up constantly. He is on the enfamil AR which did help until lately. He still vomits all the time but seems happy. Your little man is absolutely beautiful!!

The same thing happened with walker. For about a week and a half he refused to eat solids. I just kept offering him them and when he refused I did not force the issue. He just ate more formula for that week. I was worried but my doc said babies go through phases like that sometimes.

Oh thanks so much!

Your son is beautiful and I love his name! God Bless.

I am so glad to hear it isn't torticollis and that the appointment went so well. You have a big boy too! At Walker's 7 month appointment he was 24 pounds and 31 inches long. He has lost a pound due to all the throwing up. My ped. had us start Axid and zantac together. He takes axid at 6am and 6pm and then takes zantac at 8am and 8pm. He is taking 1.8 ml of each. The axid alone did not work for us because it didn't stop all the acid from being produced. Since we combined the zantac with it he is able to sleep most of the night again. It still isn't stopping the problem for him, but it seems to be better. I am going to a specialist 2 hours away in a month that one of my friend's recommended. Her twin sons were born at 28 weeks and had horrible reflux, but they didn't need surgery. So hopefully this specialist will say the same thing for Walker. Keep me updated about your son's progress!

No worries...she was born July 11. She was nearly 4 weeks early! What a surprise - we have no idea why she came early, either. Thank God she was/is completely healthy and were able to go home the normal time. Who knows?! It was great to have her, though - I was getting antsy to meet her. :) Can you believe Esme's nearly 7 months old and not a single tooth bud! She sure is a slobbery mess, though, so I'm thinking she's got something in the works for real soon. We'll see what happens. Is little Mark fussy or is he handling the tooth well? I can't imagine how painful that must be - glad we don't remember that process. Have a great day!

ok I will! Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH, YOU HAVE BEEN HELPFUL:)

She's 6 months, will be 7 on the 11th. Time flies, eh? How old is your sweetie? What's his name?

he seems to like it well. even with the reclining feature, his head falls forward, so im going to get some of those pads to put on the straps to support it. the actual harness adjustment is a great feature too!

sorry it has taken so long to reply, my computer crashed new years. Yes, her head is kinda strange. It did not happen with my other children. I really think it has something to do with the way she was laying in the womb. It is getting a little better with tummy time. Good luck.

lisa-d - Wednesday, 23 Jan
Thanks for your reply. I would hate to try to put Sammi to sleep without her paci. That would be a nightmare for both of us!

tgal - Monday, 21 Jan
Thanks!! Your little man is quite the heartbreaker himself! Hope everything is going well for you:)

My sisters daughtier uses the car seat and she loves it, she used it from 10 months on and shes 15 months now... I just bought it for my son and he seems to fit really well in it, and liked it.. but i just bought it today :)

kadjdtm - Friday, 18 Jan
I think that is the convertible carseat that we have. I'm not sure, it's in the attic and I havent pulled it down yet. I've hear good things about it though!

VONVONSMAMA - Monday, 7 Jan
What a beautiful baby! I have a big baby too!! He's 5 months & weighs just over 20 lbs now. he's a solid little muscle man.....

Terah - Friday, 4 Jan
That IS funny! Yeah, Eli drools everywhere. Sometimes he fills up a bib in just minutes. I try to take them off for pictures, but he was having so much fun and I just wanted to capture it without disturbing him. I bet I'll look back at the pic in a year or so and it will remind me how it was with the drooling and all. I always want these 'perfect' looking pics, but I find the ones I like the most of my almost 2 year old son are the ones that remind me of how it was back then. Just the casual shots like that. You should post that pic. How funny!

Amandakay - Thursday, 3 Jan
actually even the nutramigen was to harsh for my son.. he is on Elecare which is the same thing as neocate... its strictly amino acid formulas... And its $45 a can! Also i let my son sleep on his tummy... i know they say back only.. but im not gonna let him choke on his vomit all night

Amandakay - Thursday, 3 Jan
He is 14 weeks old.. his vomiting starting getting really bad around 5 weeks old... IT got so bad that he would choke on his vomit and stop breathing and i had to call 911 one time... How much cereal are u putting? You have to put alot to make a difference.. i was scared at first to put alot, but i got so sick of the puking that i said screw it and i put so much now that it looks like a milkshake.. but it helps... i mean it dont completely stop it but it has cut it in half at the least... I use 5 ounces of water, 2 and a half scoops of formula and 3 scoops of cereal... also he does take zantac and that has stopped the crying and burning from the throwing up .. but u have to make sure they giv u the right dose.. my son weighs 11 lbs and he takes 1.2 ml (cc) 3 times a day.. ANd yes he had colic syptoms also... he still gets it in the evening around 7 or 8pm... HE also has a milk/soy allergy.. so he is on EXPENSIVE formula that has no milk or soy in it.. and i have to get soy free cereal as well.... UH i know how u feel.. we have been through it all.. he has had a million tests ran to see why he is refluxing so bad... and they still cant tell us anything... i think they just have to grow out of it...
