Hey Lizzy, great to hear from you.we also say "ta" to the boys when we give them things, but we are not consistant enough with it. We also tend to do it while we're giving the item, or after we've given it to them, rather than before. Both my boys have said "ta" when they want something, but it's not consistant.Besides "ta" are your boys saying much else? Ben is really starting to talk more, Ethan is still the quiet one, though recently he's been babbling more which is good. The other day i asked him "what would you like for breakfast?" and he answered with some jibberish word that i dont remember. I then asked ben the same questions and he answered with the same word. I asked E again, and he said the same word again. I dont think i worked out what they are talking about, but they certainly have a language of their own.Ben is now getting to the point where he will attempt to say words when I ask him to. today i asked him to say "bye bye" and he tried. it came out like "ba-by" but close...E is crying.... better goSalWow, your boys are good weights. They are bigger than mine! My little Benny is still a fussy eater. He's been doing better the last few days since we adopted a few different stratagies for eating.
