---Hi!! My name is Tara, and I am expecting my first baby with my boyfriend Anthony. He is my soulmate and I love him and the baby more than anything!!! We are so excited to meet our baby. I am enjoying my pregnancy...I love being preggo!
---I knew since the very beginning that the baby was going to be a boy, I just had a feeling. Every dream I had about the baby it was a boy. When I went to my 17 week ultrasound, it was confirmed. We're having a boy! I'm naming him Forest, I wanted something earthy.

---I'm happy to be able to experience my full femininity and do one of the most awesome and hard things on Earth, become a mother! I am trying to trust Mother Nature with my pregnant body and my baby, but sometimes it is hard not to have anxiety and worry. I am wanting a natural birth. I am a bit nervous, but if that's what our bodies are made and programmed for then I am ready and excited to do it! My due date is Nov. 12. I am hoping for a water birth, but I don't know if my hospital will let me :( . I was too worried to have a home birth being a first time mom, but after dealing with hospitals and their restrictive policies, I am at least going to consider a birth center for my next one! Good Luck to all you mommas out there and all the ones who are yet to come!

All natural birth has a purpose and a plan; who would think of tearing open the chrysalis as the butterfly is emerging? Who would break the shell to pull the chick out?

"Imagine...A place where everyone honors you and the work you will do in labor, Speaks quietly and moves slowly and gently, Respects your need to be spontaneous--to eat, drink, make sounds, move around, cry, shout, laugh. Treats you and your baby as fully conscious and sensitive beings.
Giving birth is as intimate as lovemaking. You will need privacy and support and tenderness. Labor is not a spectator sport. Your partner is not your 'coach'. Its the journey of a lifetime for your baby and you. Don't settle for a typical birth. Find out more...home birth...birth centers...safe alternatives to epidurals...seek out a midwife. Arrange for a labor companion/doula to stay with you...Protect your baby and empower yourself!"
