Grace Elizabeth
September 20, 2007 @ 956 am
6 lbs 11.3 oz
20 inches
Hi everyone. Grace Elizabeth was born on 9-20-07 @ 0956. Weighed 6 lbs 11.3 oz Length 20 inches long. She is doing good. She wanted to come on Wednesay, she woke me up at 2230 after going to sleep at 2130. First I thought it was just my stomach upset. After awhile I realized the pains were coming regularly, so woke the hubby up at 0100 told him to get his bath if he wanted one because we were going to head into the hospital now instead of at 0600. On the way called the Postpartum floor and they had one private room which was the Suite, so I told them to put my name on it that we were on our way. Got to L&D and yes I was in labor again, no cervical changes, still at 2 cm. So we got all ready for surgery and got my epidural to get me comfortable, also helped slowing down the contractions. 0930 we were moved back for the c/s/hysterectomy. Grace was born and did well 9 & 9 apgar. She has been an angel, doing the typical baby things, sleeping, pooping, peeing and eating. Only problem we had was I was just suppose to have my uterus out, but my left ovary (as usual) was all scarred up to my uterus, so Doc took it out. But like I told him that one was always the trouble maker, best that it did come out.
1-14-08 Grace is growing so big. She is rolling over from back to front since 1-1-08 and this weekend she is starting to roll from front to back. She is sleeping most of the night, usually just waking up once for a diaper change and feeding. She is laughing out loud, loves it when her sister Lyndsay talks with her she just cackles. She is still Breastfeeding and growing well. She is 13 lbs.
2-11-08
We are still BF and doing well. She is 14.5 lbs at her last doctors visits. She rolls all over the place, if she spots something across the room she just rolls over to it. She is trying to get up on her hands and knees but the knees just don't do what she wants them too. She loves to coo, and gets very loud about it at times. No teeth at this time, which I'm glad since we are BF, don't know what I would do if she bit me.
Pregnancy
Well expecting my third. Have a 12 year old boy and 7 almost 8 year old girl. Due on October 13, 2007. So far I am having the nausea (no vomiting, yet), my boobs are killing me and I want to sleep all the time. Had my first scan on March 2, and got to see my little peanut.
Saw the Doctor April 13. Got to hear "peanuts" heartbeat. It was 151. Nausea is so much better, still want to sleep all the time, but that also comes with working nights. Next scan is at 20 weeks. So maybe we can see what "peanut" is, my daughter wants a girl. Asked her what if it was a boy, she states her brother can play with it then and she'll take the next one, told her this was it there wasn't going to be a next one. Hoping to feel "peanut" move, sometimes I wonder but it is just a fleeting moment so I don't know if it is "peanut" or GAS. I guess I want alot of movement so I can be sure.
May 18th, Went to the doctors last week. Got to hear the heartbeat again. Still in the 140's, bet its a boy, but don't get to have my next U/S until May 30th YEAH. Actually could feel the height of my uterus yesterday when I was laying down. My left side was soft, but my right side had a hard knot. Its so funny I work Postpartum and can find their uterus's but have always had trouble with my own early in the pregnancy, but I really could feel it yesterday (instead of just flab :) ) Also feeling "Peanut" moving around alot more, I'm so excited. I'm feeling little bumps now instead of flutters, "Peanut" is real active right now as I'm writing this. Hope everyone is doing well.
May 30, 2007 IT'S A GIRL. Just had my u/s and she was making sure we could see what she was. Everything is looking good. They say she is measuring a week ahead, but that they weren't going to change the dates. My daughter was so excited to hear it was a girl. My son said he wanted a boy, but when I asked if it really mattered and he said no. They were fussing at me about losing a pound, since I've only gain 1.5 lbs, but I reminded them I was in alot less clothing today. Had my shorts and shirt on with slip on shoes, instead of my scrubs and heavy tennis shoes.

July 4th,
Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday. I missed the fireworks, had to work. It has been a rough week. Monday morning found out I had a bladder and yeast infection, felt like H%LL. But feeling much better tonight. So I am drinking water like I live in it, but sometimes that still doesn't keep the infections away or the dehydration. Had my check up on Jun 27, and they told me I was dehydrated, the doctor thought I was getting sick and not telling him, because I told him how much water I drink. Can't win for losing. Then going back on Monday with the infections he really probably thinks I am either lying about how much I drink or that I am getting sick without him knowing. AAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 28
Went to the doctors on Wednesday. They are still fussing that I am not drinking enough water. THAT IS ALL I DRINK. I might drink one glass of tea, but the rest of the day I am carrying water with me and making sure I drink. I guess I'm going to have to drowned myself to get enough. Grace is sure doing alot of moving, she doesn't like it when I'm holding the babies in the nursery, she really starts to kick when I'm trying to feed or burp them, I think she is jealous already. Still haven't picked out a middle name yet, leaning towards Elizabeth, but my daughter wants me to name her Grace Elaine (that way all three of us have the same middle name). I just haven't made up my mind or not. Well guess I'll go check whats been going on in the week. Hope everyone is doing well.
August 11,
Went to the doctors on Wednesday and got very disappointed. We were discussing when he would do the c-section and we decided September 28th, when we went to write it down in his appointment book it had OFF written across the page, the further he looked the more OFFS I saw, he will be gone to Colorado the whole week starting the 24th thru the 28th(the work week) don't know the day he leaves which will probably be the weekend before the 24th and come back the weekend after the 28th. So I just know that I will go into labor with her that week, it just scares me to death. What I have come to find out that if your doctor plans on doing a c-sect/hysterectomy that if another doc delivers, they are going to just do the c-section. I'm am just down in the dumps. If he would go with my last ultrasound that put me a week ahead then he would deliver me the Friday before he leaves, but they want to stick with the first ultrasound. I just feel so :{ . Even going by my periods I'm a week further ahead. I just know it in my heart I won't make it until he comes back. Both of my kids due dates were around the 15 of the month, one was born on the 28th the month before, and the other was on the 30th the month after they had stopped my labor twice before. This is my worst fear, especially if a certain set of doctors are on call those nights, well lets just put it this way there is only one other doctor I would be comfortable delivering her, but he doesn't take call and only delivers his own babies UUUGGGHHH!.
August 25
Went to the doctor on the 22nd and he is going to do my c/s on Sept 20th. So only 4 more weeks of waiting. I just hope I am able to continue working up until that point. I sure am going to try my hardest. I want to take my 12 weeks off with my baby. They get big to quickly and I want to enjoy my time with her.
