Hey. My name is Eliza. I am an artist, a teacher, and a mother. My husband and I currently have a 3 year old daughter, Iwalani, and a 1 year old son, Kawika (my husband is Hawaiian). We just found out that we will be expecting #3 in September. Surprise!

In our hearts, we're excited but our brains are freaking out thinking about how we're going to do this. We're pretty laid-back, come-what-may kinda people so that's really helping out. I know it will all turn out for the best and we'll be one big happy family.

I am still so tired but not nauseous anymore. I had an ultrasound last month and saw the little lima bean! It's really more real now. It'll be totally real to me when I feel him or her move. That's my favorite!

My husband is New Zealand Maori and there, Kai means food. It's a great name, though some people assume it's short for Kyle and so call him that :) Good luck with #3!

Hi I was just reading the forum and I saw that you had a VBAC ... I just found out that I will be having one and I'm very nervous about it because I've never had a vaginal birth which did you think was better overall?

LOL that made me laugh pretty hard ^^ Believe it or not, there are *very* white little hawaiian kids here! I worked at a little deli with a bunch of locals, and most of them were white women, blonde and blue eyed!

I'm gonna guess it's after generation of military and retirees! But they are still local, no matter the skin color :)

my husband and I are both from Northern California, and are now just awaiting to be cut loose from the military to go home ^^

lol! i always wanted to live in new orleans (from anne rice, if you know what that means at all) and i envy your closer proximity to it (well, in relation to me!)

it is absolutely beautiful here :) living here would NEVER get old to me if I just had my family here! they've already been informed of their impending transplant :)

Tristan for a boy, and Jade for a girl (so far). We probably won't change the boys name, but the girls is still shaky :) we decided that if it is a girl, and she has green eyes (the baby will have green or blue) and strawberry hair, it's definitely Jade!

I have told my mother, and maybe two other people besides a close friend who gave me an underwelming reaction. Now I am reluctant to share my news unless I know I am going to get a great reaction (WHICH WE ALL DESERVE!!) As for the disappointing coments you might get, just let em' roll. It's your life and your third baby is a gift!
