“There is no way to be a perfect mother, and a million ways to be a good one” - Jill Churchill
I am 40 and pregnant for the third time. I have had two previous miscarriages, so I am hoping and praying that the third time will be a charm! I work as a nanny, and can't wait to have my own child! I would love to hear from anyone, especially those who are going to be older Moms. Congratulations to all of you!

Wednesday, 23 July Thanks for your response. I'm glad to know it's not just me! At the beginning of my pregancy for the first few months we were still fairly active but then he dropped that bomb on me last night and it totally stinks... I'm just hoping he'll give in every one in a while and not make me wait until after the baby is born and the drs. approval...that's a long time away yet! Roz -
Wednesday, 23 July You are probably not anemic. I think it's the pregnancy. I've read that the fatigue comes back. I just didn't expect it this soon. superbowlbaby -

Saturday, 19 July I have an occassionaly bleeding of the gums but I had the worse bloody nose ever last night. I fell asleep on the couch and my hubby woke me up to go to bed. I coughed a couple of times and then blood just came gussing out of my nose. It took about 30 minutes for it to stop and on top of it, the blood that ran down my throat, made my stomach sick....and then I ended up on the pot for about 45 minutes. Poor little baby....she just kicked the entire time. :( But.....I guess bloody gums and nose are just common right now. Wish you the best of luck and hope you don't get a bloody nose like I did. It was aweful! lol!!

Monday, 14 July Yup, we're pretty excited about cloth. We've done a lot fo research, and attended a free "Cloth Diapering 101" class at a local baby store. Besides the environmental benefits, it's also better for the baby, encourages faster potty training, and the cost savings will be more than $1000. Several of our friends have done this, and all of them say they'll do it again - it's just not as hard as people think it will be, and the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. If you're interested, look into it! galina -
Thursday, 10 July Thanks for replying, it's nice to hear success stories. I see my primary OB and a peri as well. I had to get a cerclage (cervical stitch) at 14 weeks. I'm constantly bleeding from the none pregnant uterus and it stresses me out a lot. Thanks for sharing about your SIL. Good luck to you! vanessag7 -
Wednesday, 9 July I'm glad its not just me. I do my pelvic floors daily but it seems to make no difference at all. Luckily though I dont have to get uo through the night. Its so cold here currently it would bite to have to get up in the cold to go.. tiggerlover -
Tuesday, 8 July Unfortunately, I have to go back to work after only one month as my office job will not allow me out any longer than that (plus I won't get paid and neither will the bills!). This may make things a bit difficult for me. Hmmm... bunnyintheoven -

Wednesday, 2 July I feel like I should take some kind of class just because I've never had a baby before. My husband has but his daughter is now almost 12 so a lot could have changed in 12 years. bunnyintheoven -
