i asked my friend when she was planing on sending invites...because i'm just like you. i like to give people enough time to plan. she sent my out today...my shower is on the 20th. i don't see anything wrong with that. best wishes!

Just casually 'mention' to her that 'so and so' said they hadn't gotten their invite yet and you were wondering when she mailed them. Act like you are giving her credit for having already done it and then she probably won't be defensive. If she tells you she hasn't done it and is just so busy, be gracious and say something like - well silly, lets make dessert and stuff and address together tonight! blah, blah - you just don't want to tick off the person doing your shower... You are totally right to be concerned if they haven't gone out yet. I think you should always mail 3 weeks before to allow time for all to receive the invite and still have a full 2 weeks to rearrange schedules and to plan. Best wishes!

I'm worried I'm only 5ft tall and I'm worried about having like a 9 - 10lb baby! I was 7lbs 9oz and my husband was 7lbs 14oz so we were both average size but I'm worried on how big my baby is going to be!
