Just wondering because I had a c section does your belly go back to normal or do you have extra skin even if you get back to your pre-pregnancy weight?? How long were you sore after it?? I had mine 4 weeks ago today and my cut area is numb but above that my belly is sore to the touch and I still get funky pains in my belly every now and then?? Thanks for any info you can give..

Well Keith said that he will support me in whatever decision I make even if he doesnt think it is a good idea. Thats scary about your pelvis! But funny that your hubby has such a big head, mine does too! He was the smallest of the three but his mom said no more after him because of the damage he did to her, however he is much bigger than his siblings today. But still cant wear a baseball cap because of his head! I am 5'7 and over 200lbs as well so people seem to think that I should have no problem squishing out a huge kid,, however I dont think the body works that way! Thank you so much for all your insight! BTW-how was your recovery?

your so right, I think that they feel since they have had kids then they know what is best for me! Everyone is different and every birth is different. I just shouldnt tell them anything, they are doing the same thing about the name we picked out for OUR son. From now on, Im just gonna tell people we dont know yet and they can find out when he is born. Just curious, are you a petite woman? I ask because of the previous comment about your sons head.

i know what you mean, about feeling like you have to justify, but you don't have to, noww whenever someone asks me why im having a c section i say personal choice, i don;teven explain that there are some medical reasons because it doesn't matter, its no ones business but you owns, everyone can gladly have their opinion but unless they're the ones having your baby they have no valid imput and can not critisize your choice, and if they do put them in their place.

I see.. well I wonder if my son will be to big for me to ..pass (sounds like a kidney stone..lol) He already has a big head and as of today he is measuring larger than normal. Sad to say this but I almost hope he is to large so that way I can justify a c-section to my family

Thanks so much for the advice, I saw my doc today and he made me feel a little better but I will just have to see how it goes and take it day by day. It didnt help that they measured the baby and he is measuring larger than he is supposed to but I guess thats better than being to small.
