I had been told that I couldn't have children so the arrival of my first son was a complete surprise! I had my first son shortly after I was married, I was 21. My (now ex) husband and I decided to try for another child sooner rather than later as we expected it could take a long time before I fell pregnant again. But instead I fell pregnant really quickly. (I now don't believe what the Doctors said at all). I had another beautiful boy.

A few years after my ex-husband and I split up I met my best friend and soul mate.

He has 5 and a bit children from two previous marriages, 3 boys and 3 girls. I say a bit as his first wife had a son before he met her. But we still count him very much as apart of our family.

I found I was expecting our 1^st child only a month after we had started dating. We were very happy as we felt it was a great way for all our children to feel connected to each other. He has been a bundle of energy since they day he arrived.

Now, completely unplanned, I have just discovered that I’m expecting another baby.

I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster of emotions as we had decided that we had more than enough children. Having said that it was my (better) other half who had asked recently if I would like a girl? But I felt with the number of boys that I have, that my chances are very, very slim. So again we decided not to have anymore children.

I honestly couldn't tell you where this pregnancy has come from. All I know is that it has been very determined to be here..

I'm Struggling for baby names, I can't get that baby namer thing to work it keeps setting it's self to privet So I'm gona just put a few up when think of them. It would be great if everyone could let me know what they think?

the same happened to me. I was with a couple of friends the other day and they saw the baby moving around. it was very funny to see their faces. Now he doesnt moves as much. I'm feeling very small but then again im short. i'm about 5'3" and i weight 121 right now. i mean i was samll to start with but i worry tht the baby is going to be small. I try to eat healthy but i dont know if im doing the right thing. I dont want to get fat but then i dont want the baby to be small either. ( I eat a o lot though

) i just dont eat fried stuff or junk food which i love.. about my doctors im having a bit of trouble. i cant seem to find a doctor here in new york tht hasnt have a malpractice sue or payment or bad comments. so i go to this doctor tht i just dont like!! yesterday i had a glucose test done and it was nasty! then they did the ppd test she said i need it bcs i dont remember when was the last time i had it done and then she tells me tht anybody can check it and i could just have this person write it on a pc of paper wht the result was. I didnt like tht at all. My hubby said it wasnt a big deal tht wht she meant was tht my primary doc can have a look at it and then just tell my obgyn doc.. well i dont know wht to do frm here, but God willing everything will be ok. so how are you feeling other wise? Hope you are ok.

Well I have been really hot the last few days but then it's muggy weather so that doesn't mean anything. I'm just scared my temp will go down now and I'll lose all hope! ARGH it's such a nightmare this 2 week wait! Roll on 10 more days so I'll know either way and can stop obsessing

I see you dilemma

My mil likes gardening. she has plants at her house but she frequently asked me if I water them. If i get a pet for her i have to make sure it is not something tht wont give me too much trouble to take care of bcs i end up doing it. She doent like animals much. Do you know tht movie rattaouile? i was watching this movie in her house once and she almost had a panic attack!! she said she doesnt like mice but I told her they were cartoon, tht it wasnt real but still she didnt stop screaming and ketp telling me o turn the tv off. i didnt know how to change or turn off the tv or the dvd been tht it was ther house. so how are you feeling other wise? Hope you are ok. my baby likes to get on my right side sometimes and i cant breath. i feel his head pushing on the right side of my stomach. I think he presses my lungs and when he does tht i feel a little queasy. well take care. talk to u later.

I buy them off ebay they're really cheap. You can get 10 for about �3 and they're really good. I couldn't afford to test all the time if I was using shop bought ones.

Sounds like your EX & his wife just can't stop interfering in your life!! Maybe theirs is so dull that they need to do it for entertainment! Lol

A week should fly by. As the kids haven't broken up from school yet & you have 1 still at home (i seem to think)that should hopefully keep your mind occupied.

We've had a nice day at the seaside today. It's not very often that we ever do anything as a family so it made a nice change.

To be honest my husband isn't really a family man. It used to really upset me that we never did anything together & even though i've come to accept over the years that thats the way it'll always be it's still the 1 thing i would change about him if i could.

We spend time together at home of course but it's very rare we do anything as a couple & even more rare as a family. Thts why today was so special.

I'm trying my best to get him to have a holiday with us next year. My dad lives in Belgium & they have some nice resorts there. It's actually normally quite nice weather on the coast even though you wouldn't really think it. We took the kids & went to stay with them a few years ago & he really enjoyed himself. He's never flown & doesn't want to so thats probably our best bet.

I'll just have to keep nagging away & hopefully eventually i'll break him!!

wow it sounds like you have a full schedule!! I also get papitations a lot! my heart sometimes feels like it is going to go right out of my chest.. I guess thts normal been tht ther is so much blood pumping now. I cant believe you can buy frogs in this country!

but i guess they are cool.

i like nature a lot i mean i dont know if i will be brave enought to toutch them but is nice for the kids they love this sort of things. My mom's birthday is coming up and we dont know wht to do for her. She isnt big in the gift thing. she is very picky, she likes functionality more then aesthetics. Well I am glad tht you are busy as opposed to been sad or frustrated. take care and take it easy.

Well the biggest summer plan is our holiday which i'm really looking forward to. Myself, the kids, my nan & my cousin & her boys are going to Majorca for a week on the 30th of this month. I was a bit worried about how i'd cope with going away during my pregnancy but this last few months i've felt great!

Things seem to be going really smoothly this time around.

Other then that i suppose we'll just wait & see what the summer brings. We always manage to find somewhere to go or something to do to keep the kids entertained.

I agree. Knowing I have a little piece of my BF with me all the time, and knowing I am never alone...it's kinda cool. Don't get me wrong, there are definitely benefits to it which I do enjoy. I am very glad I am experiencing it!

Pardon my french but what an arsehole!! After what you've briefly told me about how your ex was when you were togeather it seems like a bad case of the pot calling the kettle black!

I think that by coping with 9kids even if it's not always all at the same time you must be some kind of super mum!!

And no you're not being unreasonable by not getting their school shoes right now. I'd do exactly the same thing. Kids grow so damn fast that if you bought them now they'd more than likely be too small by the time september comes around!

If he's so upset about you not buying them then why can't he get them? It sounds like he needs to take a long hard look in the mirror before he starts accusing you of being a bad parent!

Anyway, hope you manage to resolve things. Make sure you start to take things a little easier. Sounds like you're doing way more than you need to be doing right now! Sod your MIL's bloody frogs!!
