Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Cayden has been eating every 3-4hrs, 4oz at a time. The past couple nights he's been sleeping from about 10:30pm to 6:30am. Yay!!! He's not getting any rolls or anything but he probably weighs at least 10lbs now! I can't believe how fast he's growing! Cayden will be 5wks on Tuesday. Wow...

Probably because they think it's easier than dealing with the pain of labor and delivery. Who knows!! How old your little guy now?

Cayden is a month old as of yesterday and I don't know how much he weighs but was 7lbs when he was born and then at 2wks he was 8lbs 9oz.

hiya emma,

like you i am still pregnant, 6days over today aswell and im fed up too, they must get soooooo comftable in our tummies that is why they wont come out hahahah. i am going to see my midwife tomorrow and she is going to check me over and let me know if i have to go into hospital to be induced which i hope they do as i so want to see my baby and also find out if this time its a girl hoping anyway. well take care will let you know once baby is out and glad to hear you will see your baby soon too. till then speak soon and take care dont over do things now pat x

Everything went great. I didn't tear this time! So I'm really not in all that much pain. Just some cramping and contracting still. But my doc prescribed me some pain pills so those help. I did post up some pictures and the birth story if you were interested. How are you doing???

Glad that hubby made it home before the baby decided to come! Bet he's happy! I'm dilated about 5cm and have had contractions off and on so I'd say I'm progressing great... 4 days until my due date and I hope he comes before or on that day and not after!!!

I have a feeling mine will weight about 7 1/2lbs or so. Somewhere in the 7lb range. Better than the 8lb range! LOL The house is coming along just fine. Still have some painting to do and have to get some more furniture to fill it up but it's coming along. I sleep like crap too! So that means hubby sleeps like crap. He actually fell asleep on the floor in our sons room last night. I asked him if he was glad I slept like crap. He said No because then I sleep like crap. I told him that if I didn't sleep like crap, he woulda slept on the floor all night!

Yeah, I definitely can't walk anymore! I waddle soooo bad! LOL I think he has dropped but not too sure. My doctor hasn't said whether she thinks he's a large baby or not so I'm not too worried about it yet. As long as it isn't any bigger than what Malachi was, which was 8lbs 8oz! Well, at least you know you aren't short on calcium! Does the milk really work for heartburn? I just take some Tums when I have heartburn. At least your hubby will be home soon! So you think your little one will stay put until then?

Yeah, things have started! I would like him to hold off at least another week or so. I've been having terrible cramps and sharps pains. I woke up around 5:30am today and it's now 6:30am and I just started laundry! Usually I can't even crawl out of bed until at least 7:30-8:00!! My Mom, sister and step father will be here on May 28th... So in 12 days! I can't wait to see them! I haven't seen them since last July! My son's 3rd birthday is 2wks from tomorrow. Crazy! Starting Monday, the rest of this year is going to be crazy! At least until October! But then in November we have Thanksgiving over here and then sooooo many many xmases in December. But that's still a long ways away! Why am I even thinking about that now? LOL Anyway, I bet you can't wait to see your hubby! I haven't ever been away from my hubby. When I had my first son, hubby stayed with me at the hospital for the first night but the 2nd night he slept at home. And there's one other time when I got really drunk and spent the night at a friends. LOL Those are the only nights we've been apart in 4 1/2 years! Crazy, huh? You're lucky you haven't had BH yet. I didn't have any with my first but I'm sure I've had some this time around. Unless they're real contractions! Do you get heartburn constantly? I get it every now and then. Some days I get it 5 times and then I can go 2 or 3 days without getting it at all! It's weird! When is your next doctors appt? Mine is on Tuesday and I'll definitely let you know what the doc says! Hey! It's great to hear from you! I can't believe it's down to 4wks, give or take. I was actually having contractions last night for 4hrs. They were 3 minutes apart and about 45 seconds long but then all of a sudden they just stopped! Oh well.. Hopefully I'll be dilated some more at my appt on Tuesday. On May 8th I was 1cm dilated and she said my cervix is very, very soft. So who knows!! Glad to hear that your hubby will be back in less than 2wks! That's great! My mother in law might be coming to visit but on for the day.. Kinda sucks. I miss having people to talk to! But at least she's coming for the day! Better than nothing!

They might be BH. I don't know. I've had real contractions but don't think I've ever had BH, unless that's what that is. I did have any with my first son so I really have no idea! I didn't feel him move at all for 2hrs. He's just not moving in his usual pattern. However, I did try, for a 3rd time to lay down with a glass of juice that had some sugar and I felt him move around more than he had been so I'm not too worried about it. I think that once Monday rolls around and he is still not moving around much, I'll call my doc.

Night times are the worst for me also! I dont have any children yet, this will be my first and being kinda new to town still I dont know to many pepole, so it gets really borning when hes gone!!

We havent exactly found a name for him yet its such a big decision and finding it hard to find a boy name i can settle on:{ Cameron is actually one on our list also. Thee others are:

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully the baby stays put until he gets back. I can only imagine how stressful that would be. Otherwise I'm glad things are well. And no, I can't believe how quickly time has gone! It's unbelievable! I've been really busy lately. We did end up moving and we bought a house earlier this month. So I've been insanely busy with that and taking care of our almost 3 year old that is turning into Mr. Independent. Wants to do everything himself, although he can't do everything himself! lol
