A little bit about me;
My names Emma and im 24 years old, i live in Manchester England with my gorgeous boyfiend Scott and our 2 dogs Sammi and Holly. 
I found out i was pregnant in Nov of last year, about a week after my friend found out she was pregnant too! Turns out im about 2 weeks ahead of her though but its so nice to have someone close to me to share all this with - aswell as you ladies of course. Its really nice to look at everyones profiles and see how your all progressing.
I go for my scan today (29th Jan) to find out the sex of the baby, im soooo excited, feels like iv waited forever for this scan to come!! Hope my little one co-operates so we can definately find out!

Hi Emma. Glad to hear you are enjoying your boy. Must say. This was the worse birth so far. But luckily it is over now. I am back at work and hating to leave her already. She is 5 weeks today. Not nice.
Keep in touch. Be strong the crying stage is almost over.

Aww u must be exhausted hun - how ru coping? Ella-Rae has been like that 4the last couple of days too - I think she is constantly hungry - I feed her 4 an hour &she still screams& acts hungry! - No idea what to do! Hopefully it is just a phase 4 both of them - & hopefully a short one! Just reply when u can huni xx

Aww thats great Callum is putting weight on already. Ella-Rae has developed a much bigger appetite the last few days - she seems 2b hungry 24/7!!
Congrats to your friend too - aww it must b so nice u can share all this with her& your little ones can be friends :)
Hav been trying 2get Ella-Rae 2sleep for hours 2nite - she is so restless - think I'm in 4a sleepless nite!!

Im having another boy.My 4 year old is so excited! Although he asks every day..mummy..is the baby coming out yet? Bless..it must of felt like a life time to him waiting to meet his little baby brother! Ive got Jayden..it was Dylan for a while but we have settled on Jayden now. Was up all last night with really bad heartburn and could not get back to sleep, and then to top it off my fella starts snoring as loud as he could..as was like arrrggghhh!!! The joys of being pregnant but all worth it in the end!! xx

I keep moaning to Mikey about how fat I am too. Shopping is depressing coz I don't know what looks good when my body is this funny shape. I hope we can get our bodies back 2 normal asap. I am so happy looking at my little girl - but looking at my body makes me fed up! Of course shes more than worth it - just want 2b slim &hav my baby :)
Ella-Raes cord dropped off yesterday too - it looks like it is healing ok. Glad Callum is doing well - I think its cute that ur over protective - its just cozu love him so much - aww. Ella-Rae had her heal prick test today and she was actually fine - it was me getting worked up & emotional about it! She has lost weight when they weighed her - from 6lbs12oz to 6lbs4oz - but midwife said thats totally normal at 1st. Hows Callums weight doing? Im hoping Ella will start to gain weight from now on.
Keep forgetting to ask - did your friend hav her baby?

Fed up!! I just want it over now..it feels like ive been pregnant for a year as i found out when i was like 6 weeks so its just dragging now! Even tho its only 5 weeks away it still feels far okk lol! How is Callum for you then..is he good? x

Aww hun i know - i've had a couple of nights like that - its so hard isn't it - u feel so helpless!! Hope u hav a better nite 2nite. How is Callum doing apart from that? Ella-Rae is having a growth spurt I think - she is hungry even after I've fed her 2day - can't seem 2 satisfy her!! Other than that she is fine tho thanku - she is getting much better at latching on most of the time but glad i am still using bottles sometimes coz it really takes the pressure off.
Tell me about the jeans situation!! I went shopping to try and buy some clothes 2fit this silly body shape - tried 2buy jeans in a size bigger than normal & they still wouldnt come close 2 fitting my big blobby tummy - it was so depressing!! So i'm back in my maternity jeans - boo!! Its a whole new shaped body &i hav no idea how2 dress it!! But yeah ur right its only been a wk - so guess we shouldnt b so hard on ourselves - anyway we r amazing - look at the goegeous babies we just made :)

Yeah I'm trying to eat better too - really hope it works because I hate looking like this! Can't figure out what to wear coz can't wear my old clothes but don't wana wear maternity clothes - its a dilema! But hav hardly been out yet so mainly in my pjs! Is good that you've been getting out& walking. But yeah def take it easy hun - u only gave birth a wk ago :)
I am trying to breast feed but finding it difficult at times - she won't always latch on either &she sometimes gets really distressed about it &its awful - it def makes things more stressful. So we hav started giving her bottles sometimes 2 make things a bit easier.
It is great being a mum tho :) Hows Scott liking parenthood? xx

I know tell me about the flabby belly - yuck mine is horrid!! How do we get rid of it?! I feel the most out of shape ever. Going 2eat healthy from now on &try 2 start taking Ella-Rae 4 lots of walks soon. How ru feeling hun? How ru recovering?
We bathed Ella-Rae 4the 1st time last nite - it was so cute - but think it was a little scary 4her the 1st time although I think she will grow to love it. I saw Callums bath pic - aww so cute - how was it?
Ella-Rae is getting her heal prick test on Friday - pretty sure she will scream a lot but I don't blame her coz I would do the same :) Callum sounds v brave - aww bless him. He sounds like such a good boy. Ru breast or bottle feeding hun? &how ru finding it? Ella-Rae seems 2 like 2 sleep all day & keep us awake all night :) She is a cheeky little madam but I love her :)

Aww thanku huni - arent our babies just amazing :) ?! We r so Lucky :) I can't stop looking at her!! & am v happy 2hav my baby here ¬ b pregnant anymore :) Ru missing your pregnant belly yet :) ? People tell me i will miss it but i really don't think so!!
Callum sounds like an angel - really glad its going well. Ella-Rae cries quite a lot - she's already a little attention seeker :) She also hates having her clothes taken off & screams the house down - but she is so cute :)
I am finding it great being a mum - tiring but great. Not finding breastfeeding the easiest thing in the world at times but am assured it will get easier.
How ru coping? Ru managing 2sleep much?

hi Emma yes i have had him!!!! just got back from the hospital 5pm!!! he is gorgeous! and a biggin! 10lb 7oz.. labour was hard and long but i managed with just gas and air. i hope all is well with you and you dont go too much overdue! good luck xx

hey thanks for gettin back to me. Went to my app. and ur right they wont do it before 40 wks! so gutted! but might ask my midwife next week, il be 39 weeks n 4 days so fingers crossed she's in a good mood and very understandin!
