Hi there! My name is Miranda and my husband is Jonathan. We got engaged on 8/8/08 and were planning a wedding for 10/10/09. Sure enough one week after I had put down deposits on the reception hall, cake, church and had ordered our "Save the Date" magnets and invitations... we found out we were pregnant. LOL~

Jon and I had decided to begin trying right away after we were engaged because it took both of his siblings ten plus years to get pregnant and took my siblings over three. Well it worked... We are so extatic and even though we did lose a lot of money on deposits and such for the wedding, we find it to be a blessing that we conceived so quickly. During financial times such as these we are really happy to have not spent thousands on a wedding with a little one on the way. We both agree that being a parent means so much more to us and God certainly did take care of us. :)

We were married in a beautiful civil service on June 22, 2009 exactly one week after we found out we are having a little girl. What a crazy and exciting time this last year has been.
