Baby Number Two Pregnancy Updates:
April 7 2009
Okay it looks like I might be pregnant again. My pregnancy test said so this morning. I have my first doc appt on Monday, april 13. Being a mother is the most amazing experience in the whole world. I am so thankful that Isabella came into my life. Gary and I are excited about doing it again but also REALLY nervous about having two children and not having very much money. I am worrying about how Isabella is going to take it. How can I juggle two children? How about having two kids and two dogs? Can I quit my job so I can be a full time mom? I know things will work out, but I can't help but worry!!

Today Isabella is 11 months old. She is growing so fast and has a wonderful personality. She is funny, determined, curious, loving, generous, and beautiful. Her smile just melts you! I am also 7 weeks pregnant this week. I have been really tired and feeling bad that I am not as "actively" playing with Isabella as I usually do. Hopefully I will get an energy boost soon, so we can play all day long again. Feeling nauseous at night, but other than that, not too many bad symptoms. Our appt and U/S is in two weeks, so I am excited to see Baby Lowe for the first time=). I hope everything is good...

I am 10 weeks preggo this week. We had our first ultrasound a couple of days ago. It was great to see the baby and his/her heartbeat! What a relief. I was so worried and glad to know that everything is going well so far. Lots of people know that I am pregnant now. We have told many people. Not showing yet, but I am thinking that I feel flutters every now and then.
Isabella is now walking (see her video!) and has been very clingy lately. Maybe she knows something is going on. She is eating everything from meat to asparagus. She loves feeding herself! Two more weeks until her birthday and baptism. I am trying not to stress too much about it. We wanted a big party but looks like people won't like making the trek down here so it is going to end up being small. Oh well, less stimulating, I guess.

13 wks: My m/s is pretty much gone now unless I haven't eaten in a couple of hours which is great! I am hoping with this pregnancy it ends with the first trimester. I have been feeling the baby move at least once or twice a day. We have an appt on Monday, so I will get to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Really excited about that. Decemeber seems so far away. I have been having lots of dreams of baby boys, so maybe this one will be an Anthony. Gary is hoping for a boy, but either way we would both be happy.
Isabella is doing awesome. She is currently being weaned from nursing and we are on three times a day. Which is great because my BBs have been sooooo sore! She is drinking whole milk from a bottle and loves it! We still have our speical "bottle" time so that she still gets that closeness from me and doesn't seem to mind that she isn't nursing. She is walking around really well now and is trying to run. She has a new favorite toy, which is a puppy puppet. I gotta get a picture/video of her with it because it is too cute. She loves that thing!!

17 weeks: M/S is back. It was gone for two weeks and now I have it every morning again. Makes me think I am having another girl since this is what happened when I was preggo with Isabella. We still have another 6 weeks or so until we find out though. I am hoping I can schedule my appt a little sooner to find out. I feel baby kicking every now and then. Nothing too hard, but little jabs here and there. I love feeling those=). I am really starting to show now and am in maternity clothes since last week.
Isabella is still doing great. She is now 13 months. We had our first trip to the beach and she only ate the sand twice=). She loved playing in the sand, but was still unsure about the water. She loved me putting her feet in the water. We had a good time and are going back in a couple of weeks. Her weaning is going awesome. She absolutely loves whole milk and drinks about 18 oz a day (doc said she needs 16-24). We are down to one nursing at night (between 11:30 and 1) and we should have that gone by the end of the week. It will be tough to get rid of that one because she has been used to it, but hopefully it will go well!
She is also climbing on EVERYTHING! We put a gate up on the steps (daddy taught her to climb steps) to prevent her from falling (she already took one nasty spill=(). She climbs on couches, stairs, chairs, and even us! She is beginning to understand everything we say. So exciting. She is also signing a lot more. She is currently signing: more, all done, diaper, sleep, eat, water, and milk. So smart! She is also repeating a lot of the words we say. isabella is constantly talking to herself, we just don't know what she is saying yet=)

Week 20: feeling the baby move every once in awhile. Wished I felt the baby more often so I can be reassurred that everything is going well. My m/s is pretty much gone. If I don't eat, I feel nauseous and tend to gag, but at least it went away this time. Some mornings are still rough, but nothing I can't handle! We have two more weeks until our u/s. Can't wait to find out what this baby is! I have no clue.
Isabella is finally weaned. She hasn't missed nursing much and honestly neither have I because I was so sore towards the end. Another four months, though, and I start all over! Isabella is learning new signs every week. Her new one is book and I am currently trying to teach her "open" since she wants us to open all her toys in zip lock bags (I tend to over-organize). She currently has a killer diaper rash, which we are trying to get rid of. I feel so bad for her. She screams every time we change her=(. Her first weekend away from me is coming up in one week and I am dreading it! We have a wedding to go to that doesn't allow children so we are having MIL take her for the weekend because she is going out of town to a family reunion. It will be good for me, but still, it will be VERY hard.

Week 23: These weeks are beginning to go by fast! I almost forgot that I am almost into the third trimester. We found how it is a girl (well 90% chance) and her name is Gianna. Nice to know who you are talking to. We took Isabella to the u/s with us. She was eating a snack while watching the screen. Too cute! Doc said all looks good. Back at work now and so tired. I would love to take an hour nap every day, but that isn't happening! Gianna is moving constantly. We might have trouble with this one!!

Week 26: We decided to go ahead and do another c-section. It is set for Dec 2 so it is going to come quickly! Too bad my parents will be out of town when she arrives (they are due back on dec 4), but at least I have a date when she will be here. She also might come early since Isabella was a couple of weeks early. So who knows! We are going to start trying to potty train Isabella soon, so maybe she will be out of diapers before the new one is here. We can only hope!
Sept 30, 2009
Week 30: Only 9 more weeks until Gianna is here! The countdown is starting. Hopefully it will go slowly though because we haven't started the nursery or bought her furniture yet plus I have tons of work to do at work before leave! We gave up bottles for Isabella last week, so that part of our to-do list is done! She is handling it very well and not even asking for them anymore. Getting her to drink her milk without a bottle is the problem now! I resorted to giving her strawberry mix in her milk and she drinks it now, but I will start fading that out ASAP, so she goes back to reg. milk. She is talking so much now and doing so much on her own. I think having two little ones might not be as hard as I worried about...
