Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Hey there! How's everything been going? Have you had Scarlet yet? Still pregnant over here....I feel like he's never gonna come out. I have an induction date of 8/20 if he doesn't come before then. I'm not sure I can make it that long. Only 9 days, but feels like a lifetime. Plus, I really don't want to be induced again if I don't have to. She gave me a sweep on Friday, but hasn't worked so far. Today's the last day for it to work if its gonna, so I might go get some EPO and test that out today too! I'm desperate. I hope you and your family are all okay after the earthquake a few weeks ago...I wasn't sure where exactly everything happened, but definitely thought about you!

Wow, I hope your mom and dad are doing okay! How have you been feeling? I can't believe we only have a few weeks left already...I'm starting to panic. I am so dreading labor! I love the leopard/purple theme for her nursery! How cute! I'm doing a nautical theme for this baby, he just doesn't have a room yet so everything is piled in our room. My hips and back have been hurting so bad lately. I had an ultrasound yesterday and found out he is approx 6 pounds 11 ounces! My doc thinks he will be about 8 pounds or so. That freaks me out since Luke was only 7 pounds 2 ounces. A tiny skinny little thing! He's so heavy already that I feel like he's just gonna drop right out when I'm walking around.
I totally know about walking around too much, I totally overdid it last weekend too. I thought I was going to die for about 2 days.
Ugh, gotta get back to work again. I'm so sick of working! I want to be on maternity leave!

Yes! It is totally wierd to be having a 2nd baby! I have mixed feelings about it all the time. I figure that is normal. I am worried that my son is going to feel left out or lonely or something. He is such a sweet little guy that when his feelings get hurt I feel the same way!

Yes, Luke does go to preschool, its out for the summer though. He only goes 2 days a week for 2-1/2 hours. His teacher does have a program that is 3 days a week, but she felt he was better off staying in the 2 days a week program because he has problems transitioning between activities. He pretty much just wants to do what he wants when he wants to do it and that's that. Where do you guys live that he is in school for 4 hours!? I wish Luke's program was 4 hours long. He just absolutely loves going to school! Our kindergarten program here has just changed to all-day kindergarten so that will be quite a change for him, but he is so excited even though he won't be in kindergarten until 2009-2010. He gets to ride a school bus and he can't wait, although I must admit that freaks me out. A 5-year-old on a bus by himself!? With all the pervs and psychos that live in this world I feel like he is never safe! It scares me to death sometimes...

So do you have all your stuff ready for Scarlet? I saw the most gorgeous crib bedding for a baby girl on eBay. It was really kinda goth looking, black with roses and stuff, but totally gorgeous! I feel so overwhelmed by it all right now as we are trying to finish the lower level of our house to have enough bedrooms and it just isn't getting done! AHHH!

Well, I'm a medical transcriptionst and I work from home, so it's not like my job is physically exerting or anything. It just sucks working OT, and we've been doing it for the last 4 months with no end in sight...

Okay, I would also kill my husband if he got tickets to a concert and then didn't include me. Seriously. I would have had a total pregnancy meltdown over something like that!!! There is a Type O Negative and Hatebreed concert next week and Seether is coming sometime next month too, but I'm betting that we wont't go to either of them. I really want to see Type O Negative though!

I'm glad your pregnancy is going good now, and that would be scary. I hope it continues to go good for you and I'm glad you and your baby are healthy!!! Pregnancy can be so hard on our bodies and minds, but its worth it in the end. I totally have been craving sweets with this pregnancy, more so than usual. I can't get enough ice cream, donuts, cookies, etc. It's disgusting. I tend to gain the most weight at the end of the pregnancy, so I'm waiting to see how fat I'm gonna get. Ugh. Last time I was a house.

My son is excited too. He always wants to talk to my belly and he pinches me to try and get the baby to kick. It's wierd, but the baby seems to liven up when Luke is talking to him. Kick baby! is what is always yells at my tummy. He already loves his baby brother so much, but I'm still a little nervous at how he will react when the baby is born. He's such a sweet boy and I know he would never hurt the baby, but I'm scared his feelings will be hurt or something...You are so lucky to be having a baby girl who will have a big brother! I just love that!

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond again. I have had so much overtime at work that I just can't keep up with everything anymore! I can't wait to go on maternity leave in August and get a break from work.

I can't believe that there are only like 10-11 weeks to go. It seems like it went much faster this time around. I remember with my son the pregnancy seemed like it took forever, but I pretty much hated being pregnant that time around. I don't particularly care for it now either as there are other things I would prefer to be doing, but this is my last one, so I am trying to enjoy it as much as possible. I will be happy when I get my new baby and can start living normally again, sort of!!

So, how's your pregnancy been going for you? I'm starting to get uncomfortable now, especially at night! I can't find a comfortable position for very long and rolling over takes like 10 minutes. So, is your son excited for his baby sister?

Hey! Yes, it seems we do have a lot in common! It can be hard to find other women who have the same music/movie/book tastes that I do, so thanks for sending me a message! I'm a huge metal and horror fan and am always wanting to meet others who love the same!!

I love the name that you have picked out for your baby girl. We are having a hard time deciding on a name for this baby. I personally wanted Dex Abbott (after Dime) or Cash Ryan, but everyone just laughed at me. So it's either Dylan Lee or Weston Lee I guess.
