I figure I should finally add something here, I'm only, what, like 3 weeks from my due date and never posted much, lol. Well I just graduated! Yay! Now the most challenging thing I have to do is get my boyfriend excited about this baby! Oh Boy!

I hope that the next time I get pregnant it won't be as painful, not lying, this is the most physicaly painful experiance I have ever had in my life, so I've been worried I'll resent my baby for bringing me so much pain, but I really can't say that. It is just really confusing! Oh well, I'll figure everything out in the end, I'm smart, but also impatient.

June 19th, 2008 (11 more days)

Oh my gosh, I feel like every time I stand up, Im gonna fall over, I wish William would get here so I could finally hold him and not worry that something is majorly wrong with my body. This is so scary not knowing what to expect and I feel like Im failing terribly. I can't drive for fear of passing out so Im stuck in my dinky little house with two annoying siblings, both turning 16 and at the peak of teenage awakwardness. I already have everything I can prepare for ready to go so I have nothing to do, summer is a bummer. I wish I was back in school with a long time before my due date. sad to say, but I miss calculas!

July 3rd

got home from hospital yesterday, and I am still in alot of pain due to my c-section. Breastfeeding is going okay, he eats alot then wont again for about 5 hours. Im tired but my boyfreind is a big help.

Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

hmm.. she is on breast milk an on formula as well. i checked with the doc today. he says its okay for newborns not to poop for as long as a week.

am scheduled to meet my pediatrician this coming week. will check if i can give her nursery water like phoenics suggested.

much love,

I was having the same issue with my right boob hurting and cracking. I tried feeding her in the "football hold" on that side instead of the regular hold, and it hurt MUCH LESS! Maybe give that a shot, or a different position! Good Luck

i would go to labor and delivery asap!

call your doctor--if it was your water or if yo even think that is what it was, you now can be at risk for infection if you don't get checked. Good Luck and I hope this is it for you!

kathy24 - Thursday, 26 June
You could always go to Labor & Delivery and they can use the test strip to tell you if its your water leaking or something else. At my lamaze class they said once your water starts leaking you need to deliver the baby within 24 hours because of infection.

:( i'm going to be miserable.
Thank you for responding.

Thank you for the information! I took a Lamaze class and they did say it feels like tightening, but I haven't felt that. Not even BH! I just wanted to know how you felt them and maybe I had missed something, but I guess not. Well thank you again and good luck with everything!

MommaLogan - Tuesday, 24 June
This is my first baby too so I'm nervous about the pain and what will happen on the day he comes. So how do you know it's a contraction? What I mean is how do they feel and where do you start feeling them? Does it start in your cervix, where the babies head is or where? I just want to know how they feel because I haven't felt any.

MommaLogan - Tuesday, 24 June
I know what you mean. Yesterday I went to the doctor and she said that I am 2cm dialted and 50% effaced and she said that if I wanted she could induce me this Thursday and I also said no. He's not due till Sunday so I'll let him stay in there till he's ready, but not too long. I really didn't feel anything while dialting and i haven't felt any contractions so I was wondering if you've felt anything since you're now 3-4 cm dialted.

Thanks I am trying to reconcile things.. but thank you for your support.

i had the same thing happen to me on wednesday.. i lost my mucus plug in the morning and all day i was having serious contractions. In the evening, even if i laid down, they would keep going. But here I am! still here, still pregnant! LOL!!

it kind of makes me paranoid though because you just never really know how much progress you've made during those times of contracting etc. Now i'm wondering if my little guy is going to surprise the heck out of me this weekend!

whenever you feel contractions, if they get pretty regular, change your activity, for example, take a shower or a bath, if they keep going, then go for a 20 min walk, if they're still going and you're still doubting whether they are real or not, then take a nap... etc.. and keep rotating the activities.. if they keep going, you better believe you're in labor!! Usually BH ones stop when you change activities.

tangerina - Friday, 20 June
yes, and we're very happy and excited about him!! so how has your day been? have your contractions gotten stronger?

tangerina - Friday, 20 June
yeah, my mom hated my b/f at the time too... she's right, he was a total loser, i know that she was afraid for my future.... but it wasnt my kids' fault.... my oldest would be going to high school this year and the younger one 8th grade, if she had let me keep them. :)

tangerina - Friday, 20 June
you will be so blessed by your baby... i'm so glad that you kept him. ... i got pregnant in high school twice and my mom made me have abortions for both.. it took me FOREVER to get over them... I think of my two kids almost everyday and what could've and would've been... I'm so glad that I got another chance to be a mother because i was so afraid that my chance had been ruined for me.

Good luck with everything.. i know it must have been hard, but you were brave and you did it!! Your baby is going to bring you so many happy times in your life :)

Hmmm interesting. I feel jabs and kind of like bubbles slowly popping. They're different somehow... weird. =)

Thanks for the info!!

Talk to the doctor or hospital about pre-registering. You don't want to be filling out paperwork during labor...it will just be one less thing you have to do. Also, it allows them to confirm all the details with your insurance company. My insurance company even sent me an estimate of what we would owe once the baby was here (our deductible amount that is). Good luck and congratulations!

Mommy@33 - Tuesday, 17 June
Preregistration just takes away some of the paperwork that needs to be done when you get to the hospital. They preauthorize on your behalf with your insurance company and have all your paperwork completed so when you arrive you just have to sign and be on your way rather than sitting there forever waiting on the paperwork to be completed. Especially when you are uncomfortable and not in the mood. As yari mentioned, you can try to preregister by accessing the hospital's website or call the hospital directly and ask them to assist you with preregistration.

yari - Tuesday, 17 June
You can also go to the hospital and pre register directly with them, if they have a website, call them and ask their hours etc...I can't move so can't pre register and am calling them to see what I can give them over the phone so they don't make me wait like a dork.

tangerina - Tuesday, 17 June
Yeah, i know what you mean.... part of you wants to go to the appt cos you know you have questions, but the other part is praying you will not make it that long! LOL! i feel the same way!

tangerina - Tuesday, 17 June
if you take a hospital tour, usually they let you pre-register at that time. Your dr. should also have the informtion in his office to give you so you can fill the stuff out and bring it with you. At your next appt. if you are still pregnant, i would ask him for it...

From what i've heard it still takes a long time to check in when you arrive at the hospital, whether you pre-register or not, but it does cut the time down if they've already got you in their system. :)

hope this helps!
