5/31/07- Ugghh! I cant stand being at work. I would rather be home in bed! Or outside feeling the breeze instead of in a stuffy office.I spoke to the powers that be in my office and I have decided for the summer to work from home one day a week.I'll probably change the day on a weekly basis.Going for my u/s tomorrow.As far as I know I am only 8 weeks.I wish that the pregnancy would speed up so I can meet my little precious angel. At the same time, I am not quite ready! Go figure!I told Carrington (our 20 month old son) that Mommy had a baby inside her tummy and he lifted his t-shirt and showed me the baby in his tummy! How cute was that?!My sister had her baby on Sunday last. A baby boy named Zachary.It was her fourth.Cant wait to meet him.I'll let you ladies know how the u/s went. Keep me in your prayers. You are all in mine. 6/14/07- Heard my babies heart beat for the 1st time on June 1st. They didnt do an ultrasound but they used the doppler. It was strong and steady at 10 weeks pregnancy. Good sign! Have an ultrasound scheduled June 21, 2007 and have another appointment with my doctor on July 10th at 14 weeks. Get to know the sex at 18 weeks. However I am hoping to know to sooner!

June 22, 2007- So went to the do an u/s yesterday for Down Syndrome and had blood drawn. Im waiting for the results. As per the tech, the u/s looks good. A little worrisome, but I have hope that everything will turn out fine. The baby's heart beat is 138 bpm - which some would say indicates a boy. I asked the tech if she gave an credence to that method. Of course she said - No. However we will see. I really just want my baby to be healthy. But I would be lying if I werent hoping for a girl. We'll see. I'll let you guys know when the test results come back. I hope everyone is doing well.

August 2, 2007-What a morning! Oy! So I woke up a little late and on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I take the bus to my parents to drop off my son because my husband is already at work. The rest of the days, my husband drives. Anyway, he has a cold (which of course I also caught!) and he is feeling miserable and acting accordingly. I gave him a bath and got him dressed. I am already exhausted. Then I take a bath and cant find anything to wear that doesnt make me feel like a beached whale. Finally find something suitable to work (changed 5 times!). Then I was starving so I had some bread. Went to the bus stop-waited forever. Try to get on the bus and my son is kicking and screaming (ugh!). So after 4 stops the bus driver puts the bus out of service and we have to get on another bus. Carrington of course doesnt want to go. We get on the other bus. He takes of his shoe and just when the back door of the bus opens he flings his shoe out the door onto the street. SHOOT Me! So I started screaming to the bus driver to stop the bus and open the doors. Thank God someone went outside and retrieved the shoe. Then he proceeds to fling his wash cloth out the bus -the one to wipe his nose with- retrieve that and of course its dirty! The whole bus ride was a nightmare! He was crying. Trying to get off the bus and just plain miserable. In turn he made mommy miserable. Finally dropped him off and now I am at work. My stomach hurts, my nose is running and I just want to lie down!

AUGUST 10, 2007: ITS A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12/13/07- Okay so it has been forever and a day since I have updated my page. I have just been so busy at work. I am now only 15 days away from having my girl! My doctor and I opted to schedule a planned C-section for December 28th. So she will be a December baby!!
