SIGH........ I can't believe it! I've wanted this for so long that it doesn't seem real. I'm PREGNANT! I have a little mini me or mini hubby inside my belly. Lately I had been in terrible mood. I was even getting mad at my own body for teasing me. Everytime I went to the bathroom I checked and not one drop of blood! I was like, "I know I'm not pregnant, so just come already damnit" When we BD we were not really BDing, we were just having sex. I thought that my period was comming soon so I thought nothing of his pen leaking ink inside the cap (wink, wink). About a week later I got this strange metallic taste in my mouth. I remembered that that was a possible pregnancy symptom and that is what made me go to my calendar and find out when my period was really supposed to come. And there the hope was born. But I tried to keep it out of my mind as much as possible (not too successful as you can see from previous posts)

Yipee!!!!!!! I'm going to tell my boyfriend's mom today. We have to drive two hours to get to her house and I get off of work at 6pm. I hope I'm awake by the time we get there. I devised the perfect way to tell my family. I made a greeting card that had me and bf's name on the front in scripty letters (to fool the viewer into thinking its a wedding invitation) then on the inside I wrote, "Christmas Gift 2008" and I glued a newborn sock inside :D It was perfect! Everyone who saw it was an invitation. My mom was slightly in denial, she read it and looked at me and kept asking me, "what does this mean?" I had to actually say "We're having a baby". She got a little teary-eyed. Then my grandma thought that I just had a hunch that I was pregnant and was already telling everybody. She said, "Dont get your hopes up, you should go to a doctor first to find out for sure" I told her I had already taken a test. She got happy after that. My dad gave me a lecture about all of the responsibility and also changed the baby's name. He didn't like how my chosen name sounded so he took the liberty to change it. Now it is his mom's turn. I predict that she will start screaming and my boyfriend predicts she will jump on the couch (I think that is a little exagerated) She has been demanding a grandaughter lately. My whole family including boyfriend wants a boy, but I think my psychic mother-in-law will have the last laugh on this one. :)

04-29-2008 Tuesday (week 6)

We just got our first u/s yesterday. The doctor said not surprisingly, that I have to gain weight as my first priority along with taking my prenatal vitamins. I've been getting used to the idea that I'm really pregnant. Seeing his little heartbeat yesterday helped a lot. I can tell it helped to make it real for my boyfriend as well. OH! The doctor also saw another sack next to my baby's sack. She couldn't see the front so we don't know what is inside but the doc said that it could be another developing baby or one that did not develop and will soon come out. I was wondering if there could be any other reasons for a second fluid filled sack besides a second baby. Oh my freak, I can't imagine myself carrying twins. My next appointment is in 2 weeks..... I waited 3 weeks to find out if I was pregnant, I guess I can wait 2 to find out if its twins... WOW

05-12-2008 Tuesday (week 8)

Hello everyone, I went for an ultrasound yesterday.... there is only one baby. That is quite alright because I was already worrying about delivering early and being told to go on bed rest. I havent gotten sick yet.... but..... my stomach feels delicate sometimes. Its like I don't want to risk getting sick by eating something too greasy. Whenever I think about eating I keep wanting fresh things like sandwiches and cereal. I feel the worst when I'm full. Overall its not sooo bad. OK, now there is a little bad news. The second sack they found last time is still a mystery. The doctor thinks that it was a baby that didnt develop. I have to go back for another ultrasound in 2 weeks because she wants to know if it will fall out or absorb into the uterine lining. I'm hoping it will absorb back in because that little sack is preventing my baby's sack from being fully attached. She said it could be a sign of impending miscarriage. But I'm hopeful because its not a new separation and I havent been bleeding.

05-27-2008 Monday (week 10)

Hello everyone. Wow, I've been so paranoid about miscarriage since I found out. But this pregnancy has been so perfect. Everything has been perfect. I have felt great the whole time (no nausea or vomiting), support from my family and, beautiful breasts. AND... my boyfriend has been so much more supportive and interested and protective than I ever could have hoped he would be. I'm so blessed.

06-07-2008 Saturday (week 11)

Hello everyone. Well, me and my beloved had a fight the other day. I don't want to know what the sex of the baby is and he does. He wants to know so that he can buy the baby things before it is born. I don't want to know because I think it is one of the best suprises anyone can get. I'm thinking of formulating a compromise: I will let him find out only on the condition that he cannot tell ANYONE. And he will have to call the baby a "he" whether its a boy or a girl. I feel really nervous about this because I dont know if he will be able to keep it a secret from his mom or his brother. The more people know, the higher the chance that someone will let it slip to me. I may be over-reacting but this is stressing me out. I've wanted this for so long that it feels like a dream wedding. I want everything to be perfect. I wish he could understand how much it means to me...... On a happier note, I'm going to be 12 weeks tomorrow!!!!!!! and I will go see a new doctor on Monday. My old doctor didn't explain anything to me and the whole staff was rude. I'm looking foward to actually talking to the new doctor and getting some useful information. :)
