MY BABY STORY

HELLO EVERYONE MY NAME IS AMANDA AND I SOON WILL BE HAVING MY FIRST CHILD. THINGS BETWEEN ME AND MY BOYFRIEND STARTED OUT ROCKY BUT HAVE CALMED DOWN A LOT SINCE FINDING OUT WE WAS HAVING A BABY. ONE OF THE THINGS THATS DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS RELATIONSHIP IS THAT MY BOYFRIEND IS ACTUALLY FROM PARIS, FRANCE AND I'VE KNOWN HIM SINCE HE'S BEEN IN THE STATES WHICH IS ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW. HE CAME HERE NOT KNOWING A BIT OF ENGLISH AND I LIKE THINKING THAT I'VE SEEN HIM GROW UP. NOW ME BEFORE WE MET I WAS YOUR AVERAGE SPOILED CITY GIRL. PARTYING AND BASICALLY ENJOYING LIFE. NOW SINCE BECOMING PREGNANT WE'VE BOTH BALANCED EACH OTHER OUT. I'VE BECOME MORE RESPONSIBLE AND HE'S LIGHTENED UP A LOT (AS WELL AS LEARN ENGLISH OF COURSE). IN THE BEGINNING AFTER HOOKING UP I DIDN'T GET MY PERIOD FOR 3 MONTHS AND WAS SURE THAT I WAS PREGNANT. WE WENT TO THE DOCTORS AND GOT THE BAD NEWS THAT I WASN'T PREGNANT. TO SOME PEOPLE THIS MAY BE NO BIG DEAL BUT IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT THE PREVIOUS YEAR I HAD A MISCARRIAGE AND I WAS SURE THAT SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH MY BODY. I MENTIONED MY CONCERN WITH THE DOCTORS AND WE AGREED TO WAIT AND SEE BEFORE WE ATTEMPT ANY MEDICAL PROCEDURES. THAT FOLLOWING WEEK I GOT MY PERIOD AND WAS RELIEVED THAT AT LEAST I WAS OVULATING AGAIN. 2 MONTHS OF TRYING AND WE GOT PREGNANT "FOR REAL." WE NOW KNOW THAT WE'RE HAVING A GIRL AND WE'RE EXTREMELY EXCITED. WE SETTLED ON THE NAME ALIYAH ALEXANDRA WHICH I PICKED OUT. ALIYAH MEANING STAR(WHICH SHE WILL BE TO ME) AND ALEXANDRA WHICH MEANS PROTECTOR OF MANKIND OR CONQUERER. I'M NOW A FEW DAYS AWAY FROM MY DUE DATE AND I'M REALLY ANXIOUS TO MEET MY LITTLE GIRL. FOR ALL THE NEW MOMS MY ONLY ADVISE IS TO BE PRACTICAL AND PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR BODY. THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN WONDERFUL AND TO FIND A SITE LIKE THIS WITH SUCH AMAZING PEOPLE HAS BEEN A BLESSING IN DISGUISE. TO ALL MY FRIENDS THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND DON'T WORRY I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE EVEN AFTER BABY IS BORN./>

HELLO EVERYONE. I ONLY HAVE 3 WEEKS TO GO UNTIL MY DUE DATE AND I `M SO EXCITED. ALL MINOR COMPLICATIONS THAT I WAS WORRIED ABOUT SEEMED TO HAVE RIGHTED ITSELF. PLACENTA HAS RAISED ITSELF AND BABY IS NO LONGER BREECHED.LETS ALL HOPE FOR A HAPPY HEALTHY BABY IN THE END.AND MAYBE A 4 HR LABOR ; ) XOXO

life has become much more challenging since baby Aliyah has arrived in this world. cleaning the room often is no longer a option but a necessity. bedtime is whenever miss Aliyah feels like sleeping.poop and spit-ups are part of our daily routine. but though this isn `t the glamorous life i cant explain how happy i am that she is finally here. i `m still in awe that it was me that brought this beautiful child here. looking in her eyes and knowing its me who is responsible for her well-being both terrifies me and brings me a sense of pride. so even though this is only the first month and im sure much more challenging things have yet to come im confident that i `ll make it through. good luck to all the new mommys i hope your experience is as good as mine.

Well my internet has been playing up i havent been able to update you all on Olivias situation. Its finally working so i will update you all now. her hearing test has to be redone on the 24th july but so far we know that she has low-moderate loss in her left ear and moderate loss of hearing in her right ear, also her left ear drum isnt working. they said there seems to be a problem in her middle ear. will let you all know how the next test goes.
As for her feet, she got fitted with this awful brace thing..will upload a pic... to straighten out her feet, although last night she was crying uncontrollably that brad and i decided to take it off. it was heartbreaking...we were both in tears. we go back to the physio dept next monday to get another brace that just goes on at night. so there you have it friends.... we are going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment, hopefully will be smooth sailing soon...Amanda xoxoxo

well ladies hope you are all well and your lil ones in and out of you all!! we are well also, just busy since boys are on summer break, and lil roman almost 10 mths and crawling, standing with help of furniture, he has fallen a few times, guess he has to get the certificate from nature proof of he paid his dues to get to walk.

Buenos Dias Mamacitas! This is my first update. Exciting! Sierra is officially in her 4th month as of yesterday. She's done some crazy stuff in the past couple of weeks -- rolled over; held her bottle; gone to the movie theater; and sucked her thumb. She went to the doctor's office today for her Polio and Hib vaccinations. No, she didn't cry. Not a peep. I keep telling the doctor that's she not in tune with her body (lol). Unfortunately, she's been very fussy since we got home though. If she's not eating or sleeping, she's crying and needs to be cuddled to relaxed. It's not a fun experience, that's for sure. Well, that's all. I'll post some pictures soon. I took 1200 yesterday so I'm still sorting through them! Take care and rub your bellies and hug your babies for us. Jeni and Sierra

Little Olivia has a 2 hour hearing test on Tueday. She is so precious. I am not coping with everything so well. My doctor has increased my meds so i am hoping everything will get easier to deal with. Apparently God only deals u what u can handle, we'll see... I hope you are all well. Hope to talk soon!!! Take Care!

My little one just got her shots on Weds 11th and shes was 14lb 2oz and 24 1/4inches.

I want to pierce her ears. Dr said in a few weeks or when shes 5 months but its really choice but I will go what he says.

What do you all think of it?

I took my lil Emma to the Pediatrician today for her 4 month well visit. She is now 14lbs 8oz 23 1/2 inches long!! She got 3 shots, my poor baby cried real tears. She was fine after that for about 5 hours, then she started to cry and then scream.......I gave her Tylenol and she fell asleep at 8pm. My poor baby girl! She is being Christened next Sunday!! I cant wait!! Thats all for now!!
