My Story….. June 21st, 2007

I have been married for five years and I have a beautiful son who is 5. In Oct. 07 I found out I was pregnant… I was shocked but excited. However at the end of November I miscarried. I was so devastated. After getting use to the idea of having another child my husband and I decided we wanted to start trying to get pregnant again right away. It didn’t take long in February I found out I was pregnant but again miscarried in March. This time I was sad but not shocked I had my guard up and I was prepared for the loss. The doctor advised us to wait 2 months or so before trying again; however not even a moth after the last miscarriage I fell pregnant again. This time around everything seems to be going good. I did have some spotting from week 5 to week 10 but that seems to have stopped. I have a wonderful doctor who puts up with my constant worrying. This time around they have me on progesterone and that has given me some reassurance along with the ultrasounds and hearing a good healthy heartbeat. I still find myself guarded and at time I have not been able to enjoy this pregnancy but with each passing day it gets better. I just can’t wait to feel my baby move.

25weeks

UpDate…...July 20, 2007

So this pregnancy has been crazy and stressful. A few days ago I went into the ER because I had some bleeding- the baby is fine but there may be some tearing of my placenta, I have to go back in a week to makes sure and to see if it corrects itself. So I’m staying off my feet as much as possible and praying! The good news is the baby is great. Oh, and we’re having a boy!!

Update......October 8th, 2007

I’m approaching my final weeks of pregnancy and I couldn’t be more excited!! The baby is doing great and getting big… I’m measuring a bit bigger by a week or two. I’m a bit nervous because he’s not in place- he is laying across my belly. (He needs to turn!!!!) I’m also a little stressed because I have nothing set up for the baby and when it gets done rest solely on my husband (who works a very busy business job). He just remodeled the bathroom and now he is remodeling my son’s room. When my son’s room is finished we’re getting carpet and new flooring… after all that he is going to paint the baby’s room and we can set it up, AWWWW, I Just Want It Done! The good news is, I have been buying stuff almost every time I go to the store so we really don’t need a whole lot and I am having a small shower in November. I just really want my house back in order- so I can clean and prepare for this baby and the holidays.

Update..........December 13, 2007.........Mr. Man

Owen's birth was perfect; I loved every minute of it. My water broke at home at 10:00 pm and I had him at the hospital at 11:10 p.m. It was the best feeling in the world. With my first son I had pain relief but with Owen I didn’t have time and everything went great. My recovery is going great as well, I did not tear and did not require stitches and I really don't have any swelling so I'm feeling great. I am truly blessed with two sons and a wonderful husband.
