I was married on August 4, 2007 and found out I was pregnant at the end of August after an amazing honeymoon. Although we were a bit shocked to be pregnant so quickly, we are so excited. In December we learned that we were having a baby girl and have decided to name her Brooke. I can't wait to see who she looks like, what her personality is like...and mostly, I can't wait to be her mom. We are working on her nursery, and preparing the house for our baby. Because she is the first grandchild on my side and the first girl on my husband's side...everyone is really excited for Brooke's arrival. Each set of grandparents has actually set up a nursery in their house...all for one special baby! The other wonderful part is that I have 5 friends and my sister-in-law that are pregnant and due between February and June. My sister-in-law is actually due 6 days after me. Two babies (one boy and one girl) to add to the family in one week!!! It really has been a wonderful adventure (and I am sure it will only get better)!

Brooke Marie was born on May 6th at 8:34pm. She weighed 7lbs 5oz and was 21 inches long. We are totally in love!!!

Sorry for my extreme delay. I have been very busy with Preston and healing. Our baby's weighed the same. Preston was born at 8:35am. How ironic. Heis agood baby. He just recently started sleeping 3-4 hours at a time at night. I am healed and doing well. I have been walking daily and that feels good. I am back into my prepregnant clothes and am at my smallest weight in years. I am off all meds for thyroid and high blood pressure. Pregnancy was good for me. Even though his birth and nursing didnt go as planned, I wouldnt change a thing. Well just that I wish I had been able to get ahold of my parents. They didnt know for almost a week due to being on a cruise in Mexico. I hope you are well. Write when you can.
