how are you? it seems like I'm never on anymore! hows little Xander doing and how you are doing after the section now at home? I'm good but still sick. I went to the doctors (twice) and its just a virus that I cant kick. Its been 3 weeks now :-( Other than that, we're good. Daniel is now going 4 hour stretches at night so I'm feeding at 12, 4 and 8! I hope it stays like that! How about Xander? how much is he eating now?

Were you as mortified during labor as you thought you'd be? I wasn't. I did feel a bit weird about the handsome intern looking at me at first, but I got over that, too!

I went to something called the Newborn Club before he pediatrician, but I hated it. The nurse pulled off part of Rose's umbilical cord and had to cauterize it! Then she tolld me to feed Rose and promptly scolded me for not covering up enough. The room was full of new parents and all of the chairs were facing each other. Rose was hating the blankeiyt over her, so I just did the best I could and thought FUCK IT! Labor made me a lot less modest and I'm not at all ashamed of breastfeeding. The nurse tried to cover me again, so I shot her a dirty look. I figure if they want me to be modest, they should give me my own room or at least a screen. Oh my gosh, I;ve ranted on and on!!!!

yup...Rose went to the pediatrician for the first time on Wednesday. She said that Rose is perfectly healthy. Her measurements were funny. She's a super long skinny baby! How many times have you been to the pediatrician?

ok, thank you so much for the advice! The doctor didn't tell me a thing.

I found that the doctors at the hospital were wonderful, but they also didn't tell me much about what was happening to me. I'm ordering up my medical records to find out just what happened to me during labor.

Hey, do you know how much we should protect our newborns from going out in public? We've been to the grocery store, Target, and a cafe with pretty open seating. I'm just wondering if we can go to a crowded restaurant with her or a music event. I feel like I just don't know tons about being a mommy! I'm good at calming her and being a milk factory, but that's about it! I can't even figure out how some of these clothes work! By the way, is Xander also wearing premie clothes. The 0-3 month things are just too big for Rose!

HI! Little miss still prego over here! I am suppose to be induced on Monday IF they don't have too many labouring ladies at the hospital. Good lord they better not!!! LOL! I just told mary this morning that the only I'm gettin thru this is to mentally change my due date! I can' fricken believe i'm this late!! I told you and Heti I'd be last and damnit of all things for me to be right about... this?????!!! LOL!!!! How are you doing? R U enjoying motherhood? Xander is SO cute I can't wait to see pics of him in a few weeks cause they change so much from that newborn look!
