Morning! Well I was contracting like crazy all night long...finally asked for an epidural around 4 am only to find out that I was still at 1cm! Resident Dr realized she made a bad decision by not ripening my cervix before the pit and I went through all of that for nothing! So they stopped the pit and inserted a folly ball into my cervix (like a balloon). Hurt like a biatch...took two different residents 3 tries each...I was shaking from the pain! I'm done with the residents and only want my OB after lastnight! They gave me morphine and I slept for about 4 hours. Now we are just waiting for the folly ball to fall out which means I'm 3-4 cm and they will break my waters and hopefully give me an epidural! Even though I'm in pain, time is flying by and my body is kinda just excepting the pain...just trying to stay relaxed and chill. OH and the morphine is niiiice! lol
