More....

Hey Everyone. .

I just turned 20 and I'm expecting my first child on November 28th 2007. I am a single parent, the father and I split up. But I am very optimistic, he wants the baby still and he still takes part in some of the baby stuff, so that aspect is going alright.. I am just trying to not run him over with my car for the babys sake. But enough about him! I work full time and attend college full time.. I'm entering my Junior year in college for Forensic Psychology. My family and friends have been behind me 100% which is great! We find out what the sex of the baby is on July 2nd and I cannot wait! I wanted a boy but I have a feeling it's a girl.. well personally it doesn't really matter I just want the baby to be healthy, happy and get here already I'm anxious. I had morning sickness real bad the first trimester and I still have it on and off now going into the second.. and with this summer heat it's 10 times worse! Either way, just thought I'd give a little information about myself and I love chatting with you girls.. it's nice to talk to people who are going through the same exact things I am. Plus I was a total worry-wart about everything I was doing but you girls have helped me overcome those thoughts! I wish you all the best of luck with your bundles of joy and congradulations mommas!!

July 2nd Update. .

IT'S A BABY BOY!!

It's a little boy still due on November 28th. The tech was great and talked us through the whole thing. He has such a steady heartbeat and everything is growing right on time. We got sooo many pictures of everything, including his little toes! It only took her 2 seconds to find the sex and he was deff. not ashamed of his stuff!! The father and I were SOOO surprised.. I'm still shocked. Everyone I knew told me I was having a little girl and we actually thought we were too. So just for future reference.. the heartbeat and carrying high/low thing is totally wrong because I had all the signs of a girl as they say. Anyway, we are just having trouble with a first name.. we already have the middle.. hopefully it will just come to us! I just thought I'd give an update.. hope all is well with the rest of you girls!

August 29th Update. .

Well he is still a little boy and still due November 28th. My appts. have been moved to every 2 weeks and we had a 3D ultrasound last Friday. It was VERY awesome!! My x-boyfriend has been going to the appts and his mom went with us on Friday to see the ultrasound. It was her first ultrasound because she didn't get to see any when his sister was pregnant and they didn't have ultrasounds when she was pregnant unless it was an emergency.. so it was really nice for her to get to be there, especially for that one. Everything was so clear and the tech. said I take GREAT ultrasound pictures. It was orginally just a regular ultrasound but she wanted to see a really clear 3D so she wanted to try it on me.. so pretty much we got the 3D for free. I'm starting to feel him kick and move around a lot more which I LOVE.. except when I'm sleeping. Not that I don't love it but I would like to catch up on my rest without being woke up! Starting to get those leg cramps all the books tell me about.. which are not very fun (I'm sure you all know that). VERY VERY happy to be in the 3rd trimester as well.. can't wait to see my little man. Also excited for my baby shower that's comming up at the end of Sept. that my mom, my x-boyfriends mom and a family friend are throwing for me.. can't wait to open presents even though their not for me. I just recently went back to school full time too and cut down to only 32 hours a week at work.. so I am still pretty busy, but I am glad because it makes time go by quicker until the baby's here! Still having trouble getting along with my x-boyfriend at times.. he still goes out, goes on trips with friends, golfs.. pretty much does whatever he wants. His girlfriend and him break up ever so often.. but she still sticks around I guess. I suppose I am just angry because I feel I am making all the sacrafices and when people congradulate us he takes all the credit!! I don't know, maybe I am over-reacting and stressed with work and school. Either way, I just thought I'd give a monthly update and will check in with you girls again next month! Hope all the mommas and babies are doing well :)

October 13th Update..

I had a checkup just last Wednesday and everything seems to be going well. Last Friday I was in Labor & Delivery for about 6 hours.. almost thought he was coming right then! I was having really really bad back pain so my mom called the hospital and they wanted to see me right away since I was having some Braxton Hicks contractions too. They thought I might be going into back labor.. which is pretty painful, so I hear. They hooked me up to monitors and monitored contractions and the babies heartbeat (He deff. didn't like the monitors). After all that, they gave me some medicine and sent me home. They also gave me a test to see if I was going to deliver him within the next 2 weeks and it came back negative so we're safe. I get to have one more ultrasound as a checkup next Thursday and I have another doctors appt in 2 weeks. I also started Lamaze class last Wednesday, which was intresting. One girl in my class is having twins, it's amazing!! I'm stressed out a little because he is coming soon but his rooms not done, so we are starting on that next weekend and hopefully will get it finished in two weeks! I'm also stressed because I hit a deer on the way to work this morning.. ughhhhh!! Either way that has nothing to do with the baby but I'll have one more update before he comes for next month :) Hugs and baby love!

November 30th..

HE'S HERE!!

So it took 3 days but I finally had my little boy on November 21st at 6:43 pm. I went in Monday the 19th to be induced and was in labor until wednesday night. Everything went well.. he did have the cord wrapped around his neck when he came out and I was so scared.. but they moved quickly and he was fine. I had him natural and he weighed 6 pounds 16 ounces and 20 inches long.. I put some pics up for everyone to see! Best of luck to those ladies that are still mommies.. I hope everything is well!!
