Hi! My name is Franda, and I live in Auckland, New Zealand with my wonderful husband, George.
Originally I'm from South Africa, and moved here 5 years ago.
I am currently pregnant with our 1st child, and we are very excited! I don't really mind if it is a boy or a girl, but have a feeling it is a boy. (mother's intuition??) We will find out though when we can!

Our estimated due date is 25th December 2008, so a Christmas baby! I just hope the baby arrives before my birthday, which is the 26th December!

When did you find out you were pregnant?:	13 April 2008. I took an early HPT, at 10 DPO and there was a faint line!!! I was so happy! We have been trying for 8 months.
Was it planned?:	Yes.
What was your first reaction?:	I couldn't stop smiling... and double checking to make sure it is really there, and not just my mind wanting it to be there!
Who was with you when you found out?:	I was alone.
Who was the first person you told?:	My husband, George. He was not sure it is really a positive, because it was faint, but I knew... I've seen a lot of negative one's before!
How did your parents react?:	My mum cried (of happiness) and my Dad was just grinning from ear to ear!
How far along are you?:	10 weeks, going on 11. Just want to get into the 2nd trimester so i can relax!
What was your first symptom?:	Sore boobs... ouch... and period like cramping, and pimples! argggg....
What is your due date?:	25 December 08. My Christmas gift!
Do you know the sex of the baby?:	Not yet, but want to know!!
Have you picked out names?:	Yes, a boy we think Mathys Petrus And a girl Georgia Maria
How much weight have you gained?:	I've lost 10 kg's so far! (thanks morning sickness..)
Do you have stretch marks?:	From the pregnancy no...
Have you felt the baby move?:	No... I wish! I saw my baby move at the 10 week scan though! Was so cool!
