Well, My husband and I have been trying since we married to concieve. I found out I was pregnant last November,after the doctors had been very discouraging, and we were so happy! Unfortunately we lost the baby at 13 weeks.

Well, three months later, I just have a BFP again! I am cautiously excited, and am going to enjoy every minute of this pregnancy. Worrying doesn't help anything!

Thankyou. I had my scan and all is well. I cried like a baby. Got an appointment on June 10th to hear the heartbeat and looking forward to it. I will be putting a picture on soon. I still cant believe it haha. Im so excited xxx

I just ask b/c they were able to see the baby at five weeks five days.. and I didnt know if that was normal or not.

Thank you. She did go back the next day to get her levels checked and they dropped signifigantly. They will not tell her anything. To be honist, its not the best hospital either. Its got a bad rep. I hope everything comes out fine. Thanks for your concern!

Thanks for your response on the weight thing...your right I do need to stay off the scale. I think just since I had my daughter I have become more obsessed w/ watching my weight and at this point I just need to forget about it. At least for the next six months lol. It is harder said than done but I just need to put the scale away in storage.

By the way Congratulations! Very happy for you! Hopefully we can stay in touch throughout our pregnancy...I have my second appt. friday so I'll keep in touch.

Finally ordered the doppler!! should be here in a few days. I'm so excited....couldn't make up my mind, but in the end curiosity got to me....:-) Got to see my babies in previous pregnancies with u/s every 2 weeks! and hear the heart beat! so waiting 4-5 weeks between every appointment, to only have a 10 sec listen to hb was just not doing it for me. haven't told my girls that i'm getting the doppler. they'll be thrilled (wanted me to get the one they sell at babies'r'us, but it's only for third trimester)

Hi, thanks for your message, I am nerbous, I am trying really hard not to think about it too much. I am getting my blood drawn tomorrow and then they will schedule an early ultra sound so I am keeping my finger crossed, but it would be really really bad luck for a M/C to happen again so I am feeling quietly confident everything will go ok, good luck to you, hope everything is going well.

Thank God it went great! We saw his/her little heartbeat and it's little arms and legs wailing around. I feel much more relaxed now that we got this far. Still feeling nauseated and bloated though=( How bout you? How are you feeling?

That is what the Dr told me about my m/c that it is just a random thing. No explaination really. I am sure everything will turn out just fine with your baby. Your baby has a really fast heartbeat..... I bet its a girl hehe

Thanks for your reply. I read your profile. I am sorry for your loss. My Hubby and I also had 2 m/c very early in pregnancy. If you dont mind me asking, what caused the m/c ? I admire the fact that you have such a positive outlook . You obviouly are not a worrywort ( I wish I could be that way). I have a 6 yr old and a 5 month old. I am 6 weks pregnant and I am starting college in June. I am SO afraid I wont be able to go or finish,because It will be to had with 3 young children:( Are you hoping for a boy or girl? Are you going to find out?

Yippey, I heard the hb with a doppler too! it was fantastic, and almost made up for not having an u/s. :-) All's going well it seems....next apt in 5 weeks so they can also do the quant testing. That's another loooooong wait....but time seems to go by a little faster now. :-)

thanks. the midwife said she didn't want to use the doppler yet cuz if she couldn't find the heartbeat then I would be left worried that there is something wrong when it could just be too soon. I just bought my own doppler there now on the internet so I can use it when I want.

Thank you for your encouragement. The dates could be off. I think my doc was going from the start of my last mentrual which was 3/15 but I know we conceived somewhere between 3/25 and 3/31 which means I'm probably a little less than 6 weeks. But thanks for your input and congratulations! I can breathe a little better now! :)

Thanks for responding. My apt went great today. I did have a vaginal u/s, something I didn't even know about. We got to see the heart beat and got to take home a picture. It's just a blob, but our first pic none the less!
