Well, My husband and I have been trying since we married to concieve. I found out I was pregnant last November,after the doctors had been very discouraging, and we were so happy! Unfortunately we lost the baby at 13 weeks.

Well, three months later, I just have a BFP again! I am cautiously excited, and am going to enjoy every minute of this pregnancy. Worrying doesn't help anything!

i bought the hi-bebe brand on ebay. its a 2mhz which isnt as strong as the 3mhz so im just trying to wait patiently until i can find it! lol thanks 4 ur advice!

As far as dates my last u/s on the June 26th put me at 20w 3 d, but by my earlier dating scan I was 19 weeks exactly. My lmp was 2/5/08 which would put me at 23 weeks today and that date pretty much matches with my last u/s date. Anyhow, my midwife refuses to change my due date. Oh well! I guess they consider me 21w 4 d today. Who knows? He will come when he is ready.lol. Technically with the due date they gave me they are counting 40 weeks from my date of conception and not my lmp.

No, she just really focused on his head and listened to the h/r, which was 150. She also re-confirmed that he is a boy.lol. She showed me his entire head and there are absolutely no issues; I guess I was thinking crazy. After that, she gave me a quick look at his arms, legs, penis (haha) and body. I feel so much better now. Only 18.5 weeks left for me until 40 and It could even be sooner since I had my first son at 36 1/2 weeks( 6lbs 10oz) and my daughter at 37 1/2 weeks ( 6lbs 110z)

I just wanted to give everyone an update: I talked with alot of you abot my terrible appt with my midwife ( she was real nasty to me) last Tues and that the u/s report stated that they weren't able to get a good look at my babys entire head, so of course I worried that something was wrong with my babys head. I had my u/s this morning and everything is good (his head is completely normal) I was worrying myself for no reason. Also, my midwife wasn't so nasty to me today; I mentioned to her about the sharp pains in my cervix and she told me not to worry unless I was having strong contraction like pains. She offered to check me but said that checking sometimes causes more problems and irritates the cervix, so I did not get checked. I only worry about preterm labor because I was dilated 1 1/2 cm and contracting at 22 weeks with my first son; I was given medication and Iv fliuds and the labor did not progress. Anyhow, now that my u/s has proven my baby to be healthy I can finally quit stressing. I was just told to take it easy and not overdue myself as far as walking and activities are concerned. Thank you for listening to my complaints.lol. I was just stressing about the head issue way too much.

I just read your post in the forum section. First, I'm very sorry for your loss. My husband and I too lost a baby similar to your situation. I ended up in the ER one night (heavy bleeding) to find that my 12 1/2 week baby had no heartbeat. He or she had passed sometime around my 8th week of pregnancy. It was a "missed-miscarraige" where the baby dies but doesn't expel. It was an extremely emotional time because I had just lost my father to cancer two months prior. Just three months later, we found out we were expecting again and my whole world changed! I never thought we'd have children either! Low and behold we now have an 11 month old son, and we're having another little boy in about 12 weeks!! Congratulations to you both, I'll be thinking of you!

Thank you for the congratulations - me and all my friends are shock to find out twins this late. But I never had a reason to get an ultrasound before the 20 week. We feel so blessed, thrilled, and shocked at the same time. Best wishes with your healthy pregnancy!
